About This Mod
Dynamic Lights Mod (1.20.6) adds some nice touches to the Minecraft lighting system. Exploring the caves has never been so easy thanks to the mode of dynamic lighting. Holding a torch or glowing stone in your hands will illuminate the surrounding space. Similarly, a thrown glow object will also illuminate your surroundings.
This mod makes Minecraft's light sources truly meaningful. When you hold a light source in your hand, it will radiate light and illuminate your surroundings, even if you do not put it on the ground.
Features.
This mod is a "glowing" item (torch, glowing stone, glowing dust, glowing pumpkin, red stone, lava bucket, set in motion by default mini-card).
Equipped by the player (in hand/on armor)
It falls to the ground.
Equip with other players in multiplayer mode.
In addition, burning creatures glow, and the creepers that are about to explode, glow. You can add any item ID from the configuration file as glowing objects. Armor items are also supported.
Effectiveness has been significantly improved.
Dynamic lights are now modular.
The configuration file for the dynamic light module is located at /config/.
Global switch buttons can now be set from the control menu.
The switch button can be used in the game:
The default is "L". It will turn on and off all dynamic lights. You can change the switch from the configuration file.
Note that the number of lights created is not limited, but they significantly reduce the FPS. You can disable the module to increase FPS.
It is recommended to use Optifine to replace Notch's funky render code with a slightly less funky render code.
Mod should run in multiplayer by default, but since it is client, it cannot be hosted on the server. However, "falling" light sources do not prevent mob spawning.
