About This Mod
Separated Leaves is a small add-on for Minecraft 1.20.4 that changes the behavior of the leaves in the game. You may have noticed that the leaves can be placed on any type of log, regardless of the tree breed. This can lead to confusion, especially when cutting trees in mixed forests.
This mod changes the rules of the game, as the leaves will stick only to the logs of the appropriate breed. Simply put, when you chop oak, only the oak leaves will disappear, even if there are birches or other tree species near it. Thanks to this feature, the forest looks more natural and players will no longer see the stumps without the leaves! Mod is compatible with various addons that add new tree species to the game, so this feature will work with them as well.
