About This Mod
Mo' Creatures Extended Mod is the current Mo' Creatures mod update for Minecraft. It is completely free of dependencies, most of the code base has been cleaned up, and most of the obvious bugs have been fixed.
Features.
All dependencies are removed, all spawns are processed by vanilla means.
The code base has been cleaned up, obsolete code has been fixed and removed.
Reviewed the behavior of all mobs at spawn to improve diving.
Performance optimized by faster data structures.
Reworked configuration files with options that make it easier to set up spawns.
Config values are configured to reasonable defaults.
Fixed resource and language files.
Improved AI.
Improved reproduction.

To further improve Mo' Creatures Extended's dynamics, you can use the Spawn Caps Tweak in Universal Tweaks Mod to match the behavior of the respawn Custom Mob Spawner, as shown below:
