About This Mod

MineColonies for ComputerCraft Mod (1.20.1) is an add-on to MineColonies Mod and CC Tweaked Mod that provides various colony data. This can be used for status display and automation. This mod reads various information about the colony. This can be used for status display and automation.

How to use

Getting started.

Just download and install the mod like any other.

Now you can create a new block "Colony Periphery". Place it somewhere in the world in a peripheral colony and place a computer or turtle next to it, or connect it via a wired modem network.

If the computer is already running, reboot it after placing the peripheral block (hold Ctrl+ R).

Pocket Colony:

Alternatively, you can create/equip a pocket computer with colony peripherals. This will allow you to access the colony API when you are within a colony for which you have "GUI Access" privileges (usually Friend or higher).

For added flexibility, you can create a colony peripheral with a wireless modem. It cannot be placed as a peripheral device, but can be installed on a pocket computer, providing the benefits of both upgrades. This allows the Colony API and Rednet/GPS/http APIs to be used together, as well as anything else that requires wireless connectivity. All of this can be controlled from the palm of your hand.

How Fuel Cells Work

Some APIs actually force things to happen in your colony (as opposed to just providing information). For balance reasons, they require "fuel" to operate. Such methods specify when you need fuel and what items you need as fuel.

If you are using a handheld, you must have the computer and the fuel item must be present in your inventory at the time of the call. (In Creative mode, handhelds do not consume fuel by default, but this can be changed in the server settings.)

When using a regular computer and peripherals, the fuel item must be in the inventory on one side of the peripheral block (default above, but this can be changed in the method parameter). Since the computer operates separately from the player, there is no discount for the player in creative mode.

At the University of Mine Colony (Technical Department), there is an opportunity to conduct research to reduce the cost of producing fuel cells or eliminate their cost altogether. You can also make the cost cheaper (or higher) in server configurations.
