About This Mod

Apothic Attributes Mod (1.20.1), seamlessly enhancing the gameplay experience, introduces a wide range of attributes and critical attribute-related tools. By simplifying the complexities of interacting with attributes, debugging them, and using their capabilities, Apothic Attributes allows players to dive deeper into the world of Minecraft with unparalleled ease and efficiency. Discover new possibilities by integrating these enhancements seamlessly into your adventures.

Features

Attribute GUI Apothic Attributes provides an attribute GUI accessible through the sword button in your inventory. This GUI displays all the attributes set for the player. The displayed attributes can be filtered to show only those attributes that have been changed. You can also hover over an attribute to see its description and additional information.

Armor Calculation: To support the addition of Armor Pierce, Armor Shred, Protection Pierce, and Protection Shred, Apothic Attributes changes the way damage reduction for armor is calculated and protection. In vanilla, armor reduces damage based on the armor's hit point value and the amount of damage taken, making the damage reduction non-linear. For the Apathy attribute, the damage reduction formula is linear: DR = 50 / (50 + Armor). The Armor Toughness attribute reduces the effects of Armor Shred and Armor Pierce on enemies, but does not reduce damage taken.

Potion Tooltips: Another player-focused feature is the change to potion tooltips. Potions that are not simple attribute modifiers now have a description added, and hovering over the active effect in the inventory will display the description as well as the attribute modifier.

Attribute Formatting: Apothic Attributes allows attributes to display their own tooltips . The most prominent example of a custom format attribute is the percentage-based attribute, which always displays values as percentages, regardless of the modifier type. Vanilla Speed and Knockback Resistance attributes are displayed in Percent-Based mode.
