About This Mod
Let's be honest. I'm a complete wimp. But I'm trying to justify it by telling myself that the suppressor shouldn't break after half the store. Or maybe I just don't get tired of calling for a recharge every five minutes and then recharging when the starting supply is exhausted. Or maybe the game is getting more fun with suppressive weapons. Whatever the cause or the problem, I made a mod that solves it, making the suppressors a little more durable. In fact, a little more endless strength.
That's right. Suppressors do not wear out. You can use an infinity bandana, but it will limit your ability to act as a DD combat soldier. For example, if you use Silent Player Pack, you won't be able to use Infinity Bandana while playing Silent. This is also a problem if you just want to play for someone else, or if you don't like the look of the bandana or horns.
Most of the credit for creating this fashion belongs to jvarnes (the creator of fashion TPP HARDCORE). jvarnes taught me how to modify the .lua file that uses this mod. In fact, the original version of this fashion was a modification of the Default Ammo option in hardcore fashion. Thank you, jvarnes! The download also includes .lua for 00.dat.
Installation:
Replace the 00.dat file in the "0" folder in the "master" folder in the game directory with the one you downloaded. If you're using a modified 00.dat, you'll need to combine everything with something like MGSV QAR. Detailed instructions on how to rebuild the mod yourself are included in the download. The specific file modified in 00.dat is called EquipParameters.lua in Assets > Tpp > level_asset > weapon > ParameterTables > parts, and for unlimited items it is called asset > weapon > ParameterTables.lua in Assets > Tpp > level_ Assets > Tpp > level_asset > weapon > ParameterTables > parts.
