Reimagining the music of MechWarrior2
About This Mod
The mod is intended to replace all music in the game with music from Mechwarrior 2/Mercenaries/Ghost Bear's Legacy and several tracks from Timothy Seals's album "A New Dawn" (these are covers of music from Mechwarrior 2) for a variety. To make older soundtracks suitable for use on the Mechwarrior 5 soundtrack, individual tracks were sampled and remastered for use in combat and surroundings.
The first issue replaced all music in the game, including the marching sections in the training hangar.
This process is still ongoing and will be refined as you continue to play. If you try this mod, we're always open to feedback so we can improve transitions and mixing. We'd love to hear any feedback, but if you encounter any mistakes or quirks, the video will help you a lot!
Installation.
Launch the game and find the Mods folder by clicking "open mod folder" in the Mods section of the main menu.
Extract the MW2MusicReimagined folder into the Mods folder.
Restart the game, press Mods again from the main menu and tick the box next to the mod.
