About This Mod
- Improves performance more than vanilla game allows by modifying the configuration file
- Improves performance more than vanilla game allows by disabling effects via ReShade
Why does this mod exist?
Sometimes the lowest settings provided by the developer are still too high for low-level PCs, laptops or portable devices, or maybe your performance is acceptable, but you are a purist FPS who wants to achieve a higher target frame rate.

Installation
1. Download a version of the ReShade addon and open it (this will not result in a ban).
2. Click on your game's exe file (if not listed, click Browse and locate it)
3. Select DirectX11/12, then click Next until you are finished.
4. Download the mod from here and unpack.
5. Put the extracted files in the game directory "Helldivers 2" (overwrite if requested).
6. Go to the Configs folder and select a permission.
7. Drag the ini file to the Helldivers2 user settings folder (overwrite if requested).
Bonus: If you use a different resolution than the default, you can manually go to the folder and change it.
Disclaimer: If you are on Linux (Steam Deck), then part of ReShade may not work, but part of the configuration file will work.
