About This Mod

The Imperial Federation.

New Reichstag system

When the Imperial Federation is established, its governing body, the Imperial Parliament, is also formed.

Each territory of the federation gets a seat in parliament. The imperial parliament grows by annexing new territories.

The Imperial Parliament uses the strength of the Federation and its cohesion to make decisions, unify the colonies, carry out imperial tasks and solve imperial affairs.

The Imperial Council can use a certain number of tricks taken from the Dominion's trick tree. These Imperial Focuses can harness the power of the Federation and function alongside the usual state Focuses. At present, the creation of an imperial federation does not completely rule out the possibility of Dominion trees growing.

Occasionally, there may be incidents in a federation that require attention, such as local uprisings or member states seeking greater rights in the federation. In such cases, the Reichstag could vote on what should be done. If he disagrees, he may overturn that vote, but at the cost of further strengthening the power and cohesion of the federation.

Giving Dominion politicians a purpose

After the establishment of the Imperial Federation, all political advisors, designers, and staff leaders join the Federation.

Dominion leaders will also join the Imperial Assembly as speakers, opening the way for the expansion of the Commonwealth.

Commonwealth Additional Focus Tree

Following the Imperial Commonwealth, an extension will be added to Britain's focus tree. These additions are primarily aimed at improving neglected regions of the Commonwealth (West Indies, Africa) and industrialized India in the UK's focal tree. By investing in these regions, a united Commonwealth will be able to use its enormous political, industrial and military power and expand at the expense of neighboring regions.

Then there are areas in which the Commonwealth’s vast human resources must be harnessed, as well as the speed of research and growth in political power.

Finally, each ideology has its own direction. Democratic federations can provide expertise to allies and create colonies in exchange for industrial payments, while non-aligned federations can use military buffs to defend their vast territories.

Federation Extension

After the establishment of the Imperial Federation, it gains new decision-making powers to control other territories within the Empire.

In order to create a main territory, its cohesion must be at least 50%. Higher cohesion within an empire may raise the level of subordination a little, and the leaders creating the federation also gain characteristics that help them in this

access to all of the territories that Britain and its dominions came to own. In addition, there are available overseas territories that the focus tree could lead to war: Ireland, the United States, Mexico, Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq. Alternatively you can use the Caribbean, Central America, Arabia, Bhutan, Nepal, Siam, Yunnan and Guangxi according to the Union's focus tree (combined with Mosley's access to EU education for maximum similarity).

Additional Non-Join Game Options

Allow a monarchical Britain to defend the Dominion in the same way that a communist or fascist Britain would. However, in defending the Dominion as a non-aligned Britain, time is severely limited due to the threat of abdication, so if you want to keep the Empire intact, you will have to use your own troops and those of the Dominion's starting army quickly and effectively.

The labor costs of loyalty to the crown were reduced, as were the energy costs of decision-making. Royalist propaganda, already in the political mainstream, has also become more effective, and martial law is no longer necessary.

However, as with the crisis of British democracy, contributing to the overthrow of democracy in the Dominion undermines your stability and support in war, and random events (unchanged from vanilla) can drain your political power and deprive you of all decision-making. Perhaps it is better to prefer one Dominion over another, or wait until an imperialist civil war erupts.

Improving Commonwealth taste

Depending on who joins the Imperial Commonwealth, new lists of division and ship names will be opened, allowing the use of Dominion names for certain units, or an "imperial" list of names that blends British and all Dominion names.

Further engagement with Ireland

In the course of HoI 4, Ireland severed its ties with the British Commonwealth and, in a show of loyalty to the Crown in the event of the abdication crisis, adopted the official constitution of an independent Irish Republic in December 1937. Thus, Ireland was still considered a member of the Commonwealth and was invited to the Imperial Conference in the summer of 1937 (the last meeting to discuss the Imperial Commonwealth).

Thus, democratic Britain could invite Ireland to the Imperial Conference and engage in discussions within the Empire.

Ireland could also participate in the creation of the Imperial Commonwealth as a last resort by which the British could persuade the Irish to remain in the Union. If Ireland voted to join the Union, it would become a British dominion and acquire the same federal national spirit as other dominions. Once the Union was established, Ireland would sit in the Imperial Parliament on an equal footing with the other Dominions.

The Irish AI will not be forced to accept an invitation to Congress, as has historically occurred (a baseline probability of 40%, increasing in view of diplomacy). Even if she did, the chances that Ireland would accept the Union are significantly lower than those of the other dominions.

'Why only democratic Britain?' For both non-aligned Britain and fascist Britain can achieve their military goals by emphasizing diplomacy. In addition, communist Britain favored decolonization and renounced its claim to Ireland.
