About This Mod

Courier Six is a submode of Old World Blues, featuring the protagonist New Vegas in general events and a fashion storyline. This is due to a new branch of the New Vegas focus tree.


In Old World Blues fashion, the Courier's main involvement in the Hoover Dam War was cut, and some plot elements were rewritten to exclude the Courier (presumably to match the HOI4 gameplay). However, the author rewrote Courier into fashion, making some significant changes to the New Vegas storyline to ease the gameplay of HOI4.


The plot is changing:


The courier becomes the political leader of New Vegas.


Courier can enter into an alliance only with the NKR, the Legion or himself.

Instead, Benny does not kill the courier. The killer is a NKR ranger or an agent of the Frumentarians, which gives the Vegas courier a motive to join (or not join) the opposing faction.

To accommodate player choices and world events regarding Mojave and groups living in Vegas (such as the Three Families, the Great Khans, the Boomers, and the Bosses), the basic quest structure at New Vegas has had to change slightly. This means the following.


Platinum chips are delivered from Sunnyvale to Mojave at the player's discretion.

The courier will not necessarily be shot dead on October 11, 2281.

President Kimball is not the target of an Arizona assassin.

The courier does not have the same freedom (to do anything at any time) as the player in the video game.
