About This Mod

Welcome to Commander's in Conflict.


You may have already played Sonnenblume, the first map and the 1-on-1 mode in Hearts of Iron IV, the official version of SPEED5. Now get ready for the first season of Commanders in Conflict fashion. The first season will include three cards, 12 factions to choose from (six per country), balancing and error correction.


In this game mode, Axis and Allies fight each other on a reduced Hearts of Iron IV map. The map is set in North Africa in 1940. The essence of the game is to either capitulate (completely defeat) the opponent until the end of time, or save most important winning points.


The game mode consists of two phases: preparation and battle. The preparation phase is the first year during which players begin to plan and develop their industry and possibly choose a faction. 365 days after the game starts, one of the game's events automatically declares war, and the battle phase begins. From now on, players will aim for one of two types of victory.


Winning Method


Victory at Surrender.


Winning a surrender is when one player completely knocks out another player by taking over and surrendering enough of the other player's territory, or when one player surrenders before the time limit expires.


Winning on points


Winning on points is achieved if by the end of 60 minutes of the game all or most of the key winning points are in the hands of the player. Key points are always displayed in the solution pane.


Victory points also give the player extra resources. In other words, holding victory points can be a tactical advantage.


Factions.


Each nation has three faction selection trees, each of which gives a unique bonus to the player's nation. For those who don't know, it's like choosing a champion at LoL or an agent at Valorant. Each choice and style of play has its pros and cons. In the first season, the following factions are available


Allied Forces


Eighth Commonwealth Army.

The Commonwealth Eighth Army combines well-supported infantry, espionage tactics, and a strong fleet to reinforce the defenses and wait for the right moment to counterattack.


1st Canadian Army

The 1st Canadian Army combines logistical support and quick maneuvers to get supplies and troops into position as quickly as possible.


12th United States Army Group.

Combining modest armored support with powerful firepower, the U.S. Army Group leverages the power of American industry to create a well-trained fighting force.


United States Marine Corps.

When times are tough, Marines help. Specializing in amphibious assault operations, U.S. Marines strike where the enemy can least expect them.


Soviet 5th Guards Tank Army

The Soviet 5th Guards Tank Army wins battles with blood and steel. Using armored and mechanized troops, manpower, and naval tactics, it would ensure that every breakout opportunity was seized.


Soviet 3rd Shock Army

The Soviet 3rd Shock Army attempts to break through the enemy ranks, transferring elite infantry and numbers to the battlefield with overwhelming force and overwhelming support.


Axis Forces


Western Army Panzer Group

Combining powerful armor and high-speed equipment, the Western Panzer Group relies on brute force and speed to overwhelm the enemy before supplies run out.


Wehrmacht 4th Army.

The combination of elite infantry and defense makes the Wehrmacht 4th Army formidable when the enemy takes root.


Italian First Army.

Combining artillery and naval support, the Italian 1st Army successfully combines air, ground, and naval forces to hold the front line and destroy enemy forces.


Italian Army Po

it is a fast, light squadron, employing tactics of attack and attack in the air, on land and at sea. If you want to get there quickly, Poe's army is what you need. Japanese Navy.

By providing experienced naval support, commandos, and strong infantry, the Japanese expeditionary force relies on control of the waterways to attack enemy positions where it can least expect them to.


Imperial Japanese Army.

Experienced infantry and morale have come a long way. The Imperial Japanese Army is expert at using all the available soldiers and relentless morale to defeat anyone who stands in their way.
