About This Mod

MOD Soviet Union 1933 is a global modification of HoI 4 based on historically reliable data, taking the action three years ago and dramatically changing all aspects of the game. The mod is entirely in Russian.


The mod makes the game much more difficult and is not intended for those who expect an easy game, but for those who want historically accurate, thoughtful and serious game.


It runs from January 1, 1933 to December 31, 1950, but the balance between AI and fashion runs until January 1, 1940. Fashion readiness by country is 90% for the USSR, 90% for Japan, 90% for Italy, 90% for China, 60% for the UK and the Dominion, other large countries, and 50% for small countries.


It is a mod with the most detailed armament, historical division patterns from 1933 to 1945 and reliable armament and equipment of individual units in the division. The mod contains more than 1,500 different land, sea, and air armies, weapons, and weapons.


Maud uses historical manning principles, with many types of battalion weapons and vehicles determining overall offensive and defensive power.


The following are the requirements for an infantry battalion in a division

This modification applies the concept of combined battalion weapons to armored vehicles, requiring tank turrets with artillery, tank machine guns and large-caliber machine guns.


Large-caliber tank machine guns, towers of light, medium, heavy and super-heavy tanks with artillery, towers with antitank guns, towers with air defense guns, towers with air defense guns and tank machine guns will be introduced. Players are given the opportunity to decide for themselves which caliber of gun and machine gun to equip their armored vehicles. By simply marking or removing the right type of weapon from the division template's Equipment and Armament in Use menu, players can increase or decrease the characteristics of the division's tanks, changing their overall attack power, etc.


This can also be done with machine guns used by infantry battalions and replaced with large-caliber machine guns.

In fashion, a lot of time is devoted to the junctions of major powers.


Every major power has at least one date before 1939, from which several historical and alternative interchanges begin. For example, Germany’s major turning point was the March 1933 election, in which the player could bring any of the four major parties to power and change the ideology, political system, flag, and country name accordingly; AI could do so, too, but with a lower probability percentage, in most cases only if the game’s historical path mode is disabled. In Germany, a branch was added: "Night of the Long Knives", in which Hitler could be defeated by Röhm, and two conspiracies of generals who could remove the Nazis from power before the war.


In France, the main dividing point was the Fascist uprising of February 1934.

In the Soviet Union - the conference of Soviet winners in February 1934.

The United States held presidential elections in November 1936 and 1940.

In Japan, Shinbei conspired in July 1933.

In Italy - November 1933, the introduction of the corporate state.

In the United Kingdom, Edward VIII abdicated in December 1936 and a general election was held in 1935.

In China, the Great Campaign of 1934-1936. Maud recounts how Japan took advantage of China’s weakness and conspired with Chiang Kai-shek’s regime to gradually expropriate China’s northwestern provinces. Players can either repeat the CCP army's epic march from southern China through hard-to-reach mountainous areas to the Yanan District of Shaanxi Province, or try to win a civil war. If the CCP wins, Japan will no longer dare to attack a united and strong China.

There are more than 1,500 events in this fashion, including those hidden from the player. For example, the beginning of a civil and conventional war, combat operations during a war, the emergence of historical divisions with 10% refinement, the launching of large ships, the founders of the series, etc.


Requirements: Russian version of the game, availability of all DLS, other modes are disabled, "Historical Focus for AI" mode is enabled.


Mod is tested on version 1.10.8.
