About This Mod

The fashion's main purpose is to make nuclear weapons a greater threat not only to the enemy, but also to ourselves.

Key features.

When nuclear bombs are dropped on a state, they do harm to its people. Damage done depends on the size of the state's population - a relatively fixed figure due to some limitations of the game engine. Basically, in states with less than 1.2 million people, bombs cause one of three levels of damage: 1.2 to 3 million, and in states with more than 3 million, the next.

<1.2 million: Damage is calculated using the game's math system and must always be approximately 10% of the current population.

1.2 - 3 million: due to the limitations of the engine, the game can not perform large calculations, so more than 1.5 million (I set it at 1.2 for this fashion just in case) can not be performed, so in these states will always be lost ~ 100K population.

> 3 million: The same applies as above, manually setting damage to ~1 million.

The number of deaths and radiation levels of the counter is based on mathematics, so the launch (i.e. interruption) of more than 6-10 nuclear bombs at the same time will cause the counter to break due to nervousness and calculation. There are also global radiation levels that increase with each bombing, and while these values are far from reality, it is just fun, and the meter works more or less like a Doomsday clock.

Provincial levels of radiation are an additional factor to global levels. Higher local levels of radiation are amplified compared to higher levels of radiation in the states and are beginning to kill the state’s population. (Radiation deaths are shown.)

A global debate takes effect as soon as the global level of radiation begins to rise. Radiation levels are not based on real values. A global debaff takes effect when the global radiation level reaches 10 or higher, and reaches its maximum "damage" when the radiation level exceeds 100. Targeted debates are numerous and manageable as long as the global level of radiation is low. At higher and more extreme levels, however, it becomes difficult to prepare the troops and keep the country intact. Debates include but are not limited to: the population no longer decreases or increases, production slows, units die only from radiation, cease to be enemies, and have no healthy units.
