About This Mod

To the famous fashion on the flag added a new division - the submode of the project The Great War Redux. This mod includes all the best parts of the original Morgenstern, so you can take part in the virtual First World War with maximum immersion!


Fixed colors and sizes of flags. The vanilla flags are heavily re-lighted and stretched. No more super-compressed flags or nasty lightened banners. It seems to me that Paradoxes just took the flags from Wikipedia and pasted them in the size of 82x52. Corrected names of states: no more fancy names like "Corporate Honduras" or "Communist and proletarian Roman world". From now on, only the official and most appropriate names are used for countries with alternative ideology, alliances, etc.


Fashion features


The mode is quality-oriented, so you won't see any pictures or texts made without psychotropic drugs.

All the flags of all the countries in the game were created anew, worked out literally every pixel, and in many cases all had to draw from scratch.

The greatest emphasis was placed on historicity.

The names of the countries were chosen to correspond to the era. All in the appropriate format. Unlike vanilla, they do not spoil the experience or interfere with the gameplay.
