About This Mod

Total Mobilisation is a true military, economic, and political simulation of World War II. The entire combat system was redesigned from scratch to provide the realistic, lethal combat used in operational war games of the time.

Total Mobilisation aims to challenge players by presenting them with historical trade-offs. Players need to think strategically and operationally to succeed, and there is no single ideal path to victory.

Re-engineered dynamic economy: private factories are built automatically on the basis of each country’s past growth.

Dynamic threat systems: Countries mobilize automatically based on how dangerous potential adversaries are (based on ideology and competing factions).

Ammunition system: artillery, planes and tanks cannot function without ammunition, so plan your attacks.

Fully integrated reserves and mobilization in peacetime and wartime.

Historical performance indicators based on research by Nigel Askie and Dupuy.

Normal naval combat inspired by NRM.

Historical distribution of industrial capital and resources

Historically accurate data on production, combat losses and manpower

Historically accurate cost and purchase of equipment

Unique soundtrack created for cinematic music impressions

Mod aims to update the gameplay by modifying, replacing, and developing the basic game mechanics, rather than developing a vanilla system. Due to the nature of the rework, some things are not final, but mostly they are vanilla/original and are in the process of being repaired. These include a number of high-ranking characters, focus, and some solutions.

While the focus is on multiplayer, AI is still complex and somewhat playable with this mechanics. Due to the balancing features, it is recommended to play as a major or regional junior to get the maximum experience.

Always check the official website for recommended mods and articles/blogs.

Advice.

Spend at least 30% of your money on ammo. Ammunition is consumed quickly - especially when you have a lot of bombers.

This is especially true when you have a lot of bombers. Convert miles (ammo) instead of building new factories.

Always choose a solution for mobilizing the population in times of war.

You may think you have an insane amount of equipment, like the Soviets, but these are historical figures, for example, in 1941 they had 20,000 planes and 20,000 tanks. Once casualties have risen to historic levels, maintaining a large army is no bad idea. If you think it's too easy, try to keep the Germans at bay.

Play for the Soviet Union, Italy and Japan in a difficult singles game. For the rest of the big countries, we recommend improving AI to allow more experienced players.

The initial number of factories is based on accurate 1936 military expenditures.

Errors.

Please report bugs, balance issues, or anything you would like to add.

Known issues.

Unable to move backward, causing problems opening the production line.

It takes 1-2 days to initialize the savings.

It takes a month to initialize HR/FRS. Overflow disrupts the user interface of major powers, but does not affect gameplay.

Many obsolete vanilla assets still do nothing.

The Army's plan is currently not operational.

Don't worry, we're working hard to fix it all. This mod has been tested with version 1.12.14.
