Finland Focus Tree
About This Mod
Finland was very active during World War II. In the winter of 1939, it fought a fairly successful defense against the Soviet Union. She then joined Germany in Operation Barbarossa against the Soviet Union in 1941 and finally signed a truce with the Soviet Union in 1944. She was then involved in the final war with Germany.
However, in Hearts Of Iron 4, this is almost non-existent. All there is is is the Winter War. That's why I wanted to make this mod. In this fashion, Finland has the opportunity to join Germany against the Soviet Union and leave if Germany is defeated.
It can also transform itself into a fascist or communist state, achieving the goal of creating Greater Finland or spreading the revolution to other northern countries. The democratic path, on the other hand, allows for the formation of factions with Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, making the non-aligned path the most historically credible. There is also a monarchical path that allows Finland to become a kingdom that will pass through one of three houses. Hessenians, Romanovs and Bernadottes, each with their own goals and leaders.
The target tree also includes ways to improve Finland’s industrial, mining, and military tactics, manpower, air, and maritime capabilities.
All divisions are made realistic enough that Finland is not the strongest, and take into account real actions and events in Finland before and after World War II.
