About This Mod

Turn any car into a GTA San Andreas into a genuine drift car with this add-on! "Drift settings" give you complete freedom to tune your fleet to this exciting style of sport. You will be able to choose absolutely any car in the game and "modify" it for drift, opening up the fresh possibilities of elegant drifts and spectacular runs through the roads and deserts of San Andreas.

Two types of configurations:

The add-on comes with two separate options, each offering a unique drift experience:


Short skid + realism + leisurely: This version is perfect for those who appreciate accurate and pliable drifts. It guarantees a more plausible machine behavior with a bias towards slow, yet highly controlled drifts. Great for honing skills in small stretches or in the city flow.

Long drift + realism + pace: If you like long, spectacular drifts at high speed, then this config is for you. It will allow you to keep the car on the slide for longer, while maintaining the reliability of physics and giving more speed to your maneuvers. Ideal for extensive trails and vacant areas.

The choice of configuration depends on your personal driving style and drift preferences. Try both options to find the one that best suits your experience in the game.


Implementation:

Implementing an add-on is fairly straightforward and requires minimal effort:


In each of the two add-on packages, you'll find a text file.

Examine the text file and copy the parameter string from it.

Then open the handling.cfg file, which is located in the data directory of your GTA San Andreas game application.

Using any text editor (e.g. Notepad), paste the copied string into the settings section of any car you like. Replace the existing parameter string for this auto with the new drift map.
