About This Mod

Description:


Maasland 4x is a Dutch fantasy map, made without excessive detail. It was designed to be multiplayer, so the main goal was to maximize optimization to ensure stable performance.


The reason for creating this map is simple: many cards have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, I like the Papenburg map, but the editor is closed. The flat US is good, too, but it has too many blunders. The Juocta map is good, but it is full of user elements, which is more frustrating for me. There are more realistic maps, but they don't fit me.


So, as I always advise those who complain about other people's fashion/cards: do better yourself if you can. That's what I did. Originally, the map was created exclusively for me and my friends so we could play together.

But after asking QesslyGaming (streamer) to review the map live, I thought. No map updates are expected in the near future, unless there are critical issues that need fixing.


I hope you like it. If not - refrain from negativity and leave comments for those who care and who are ready to report errors.


I used and edited the following:


imported: Road system and trees (juocta)

imported: Fashion windmills (The Lort)

imported: Modern house fashion (Redphoenix)

imported: Farm Package, Volume 3 ([DMI]20mmNormandy)

imported: Package of access roads (Snakebizzle)

imported: Map background (Jimkerk)

imported: Sidewalks (jimkerk)

So, what you get with this card:


- 138 farmland

- 132 fields (from 4.8 ha to 89 ha)

- 5 empty farm plots (most of us don't like pre-set farms)

- Logging area

- Small town in the center

- Multiple points of sale and purchase

- Added dark asphalt texture from AS map

- Added the texture of the pavement from the EU map

- Animal dealer (works correctly)

- 3 new crops: millet/rye/hops

- Railway system

- Football field in case you get tired of farming in multiplayer
