About This Mod

I've always liked the island of Spektakl, and I wanted to build a full village there. So I started working on a fashion that would change the island the way I like it. Now I want to share my latest and future work.

Features


  • flattened island of spectacles
  • one version, surrounded by the walls and tourels of covenants
  • one version without walls and turrets
  • custom LOD (long distance view) for each version
  • an optional plugin that adds a small rowing boat for quick transfer from castle to island and back

Changes


Version 1.31

- Added new feature: Small rowing boat for quick transfer from the castle to the island of sights and back (as an optional plugin)

- unneeded scripts removed from archive


Version 1.3

- added version without walls

- now with fomod installer

- added missing Lod Flushes (which caused glossy textures)

- the position of the gate of the covenant is corrected


Version 1.22

-reworked some textures

-deleted some remaining objects


I checked in a fresh game whether the cages and beacons were working. My cages worked, and I could get at least one settler on the lighthouse.

I don't believe that my changes can stop him from attracting settlers.


Version 1.2.

-New LOD (level of detail / long view) for terrain and objects.

-MK 7 Machine Turrets all over the wall (288 Defensive)

-deleted some remaining objects

-added another object to the non-relocatable bits file


Version 1.1

-fresh modified by NavMesh, since the first was glitchy

-completely surrounded by the Covenant wall (scale 2.5)

-new NavMesh (will get some fixes where needed)

Manual Installation:

Copy

Spectacle-Settlement.esp in .../Fallout4/Data

SpectacleIslandFix.txt in .../Fallout4/Data



Known Issues:

  • In some remote locations, the LOD terrain is not correct. This is difficult to fix due to Creation Kit crashes. (I only noticed it in a version without walls.)

This part is old and seems to have been fixed by Creation Kit:

Important:

To move nonmovable objects, download the game save, open the console, and type:

bat SpectacleIslandFix


Uninstall:

Uninstall mod via NMM

Use the reset file (located in the Additional Files section) in the console, enter:

bat SpectacleIslandFix-Reset


You'll have to use it twice if you want to get everything back (I don't know why),

moves only the workshop and switch for the first time.

Warning:

You will receive a cell reset error. If you have used Spring Cleanup, all cleared settlements may also be compromised.



Fashions for "fixing" Cell Reset:

Unfortunately, they are not devoid of errors, such as the accidental spawning of items/parts of heavy armor inside containers.


As long as I am interested in this project, I will work to make sure that everything is done. Since I'm new to creating a set, there are a lot of things I don't know. Many of the tutorials on Skyrim, unfortunately, do not work for FO4.
