From the frameworks of large and small houses to walls, windows, roofs and floors.

From Friendly Comments

- "What every Fallout 4 fan needs. This mode completely changes the dynamics of settlement construction due to the unbridled limitation of resources. Imagination is now in the hands of the creator. Great work of robboten, and thank you! Be healthy!"

- Koolavinein

"How the hell I haven't found this fashion before, it's so underrated."

- BeingShotAt

- "I want to thank you for your fantastic fashion and excellent work. This fashion gives so many opportunities for building settlements.

Your mod is one of my absolute favorites and one of my main mods (again

in my real project called Port Royal.

Keep up the fantastic work."

Latest news

It's finally time for updates!

As usual, these things take longer than you usually think. From simply changing snaps to lots of new items (somewhere around 500 new models in ShellKit alone). It took almost a year of development, but now it's here! And I hope you enjoy it!

ShellKit

ShellKit was created one of the first, immediately after HouseKit. So it definitely needed reworking. Updated latches, more beautiful glass windows with collision and so on. As inspiration for new models, we looked at vanilla assets with bricks, selected several that we thought were pretty, cut them and made modular. New pieces are carved from unique buildings such as Old State House, Old North Church, Faneuil Hall and others. We even put together a Red Rocket gas station. Our idea is that you can combine these parts and create new beautiful mansions, warehouses, gas stations, garages, churches and apartment buildings of all kinds.

Our friend Vronika (from Creative Clutter Team) helped us to make new plaster materials that we think are more suitable for them than old worn plaster. Thus, "Shells" will be available in some versions of brick and in some versions of plaster. This time we didn't do wallpaper. They take a long time to make and require a lot of space in the esp, so instead we spent time taking care of the shells themselves. If you want to make wallpaper for Snappy, you can always contact us!

Most parts can be combined between subsets of shells, some parts are more specialized and may not work as well with others, but we want you to play and create your own limitations. Just because we've added a submenu for them doesn't mean you shouldn't mix them!

Interior building kits

These sets are very often used in the game to build various buildings, mostly internal. They have very beautiful floors and a lot of stairs of all types. This is an advanced set, since all the walls are one-sided and there are no half-walls. The walls are attached together, which also makes this set very versatile if you spend time studying it. You can use a brick set on one side to make an outer wall, and then use wallpaper, deco or one of the wooden sets to make the inner side of the same wall, or any other combination of sets, since all the parts are interchangeable. Then select which stub set you want to use to insert them into window and door openings. You can add a metal door frame to a marble wall or a wooden window frame to a concrete wall. We even turned some blanks into shelves that are compatible with Creative Clutter and Do It Yourshelf.

We've added many themes for these sets so you can mix and match them with each other and create a custom style for your settlement. Theme sets are as follows:

Brick - available in Steam, Factory, white, which will be combined with themes from the set of DecoMainA, and red, which is combined with vanilla Shellkit

Concrete - 4 themes

Deco - 2 topics

Wallpapers - 5 themes

WoodB - 2 themes

WoodP - 5 Themes

In addition to the above, there is also a Colonial set, which includes short partitions and corrugated columns, and a Combat Zone set, which includes some elements of the finish, designed specifically for this building.

There are also floors, stairs, railings, columns, skylights and much more. Since some of our users like to build ruined buildings, we also added many broken things to the set along with the cleaned ones.

To make this bundle more compatible with other bundles, we've also made stubs for NCA and shell so you can combine these assets even more. In the future, more such compatible elements will be made to help this set blend better with others.

And again, advanced set! A lot of things! Don't be upset if you can't put it all together at the first try. And maybe don't even try if you're the one who wants to get something quick and simple. I recommend looking at the menu and looking at the different models. Maybe there'll be something you can use.

As an additional bonus, we added a set of utilities. It is smaller than the rest of the interior kits, and very utilitarian. This set consists of corridors and small room sections that are mostly used as access to other areas in the game. Most of the set is simple and works just like the rest of the interior sets, but the pipes that attach to the ceiling can be a little complicated. We did our best to name them so that you could understand which tubes should be attached to each other.

Landscape design

If you look at the very end of the main menu, you will see the Landscape Design menu. Most of the exterior elements in Snappy have been moved to this menu. This includes sidewalk/park elements that were previously in the HouseKit, grass embankments, retaining walls, sidewalks, wrought iron (fences, posts and gates), sidewalks and some other steps.

Sidewalks and wrought iron are new sections in this issue. Please check them out as we consider them a fantastic addition!

Other

Phoenix also slightly revised the main Snappy menu. Basically we just straightened them and made the tilt and the angle uniform in the workshop menu, but changed a few of them to hopefully more enjoyable models.

We have fixed most of the errors reported here, see the changelog for details.

Need help - why no tutorials?

We know that these kits need to be dug in, and some of them are a little tricky. It'd be nice to make a video to explain it, but unfortunately none of us know how to do it. So if someone can make a video about how to collect or something like that, let us know! We can help you with our knowledge of the kits if you want to help us make videos for this.

Another option we thought about was the blueprints. So if there are those who like to build with Snappy, please do the drawing and share with us! If you already have a building using Snappy, we can add a link to it here if you want.

For this version a separate thank you expressed...

Phoenix46 for the great work on this update!

Donald Strong for ideas and feedback

Danielkornev for extensive testing and feedback throughout the course of this update

Elaron and adirondack9 for even more beta testing and reviews

To all the builders who inspire me for further work - especially Dapple92, Mego0077, wysiwyq, KingStevie and many others, as well as to you!
