About This Mod
So I looked at all the items that I could eat and set their weight to 0. This includes syringes for a gun that I never use, all drugs, all food (craft and ready-to-use apple sugar bombs Blamco Dandy). Including all drinks (and therefore ingestibles...) and so on. It saved me about 300-400 kg of weight in the game... hell. Oh, that also includes plants/flowers/vegetables. Yay. No 30 pounds of melons in the backpack...
All grenades/mines have 0 weights. Because. It's annoying.
VIDEO... tada. Best to watch in 1080p full screen mode or integrated 460p
I don't use NMM, so I don't know what it will look like when I boot. I manually sort out fashion for all games, always did.
Install:
Edit sResourceDataDirsFinal in your fallout4.ini
located here:
%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Fallout4
What it should look like (add any other existing tags you are using that are not listed):
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, textures\, meshes\, scripts\, sound\, music\, misc\, shadersfx\, interface\, programs\, materials\
You may need to set fallout4.ini to read-only mode for the values to persist. I believe that if you touch game settings without setting the file to read-only, you will lose the edited line above, which means all your mods will be disabled. (if you do not use NMM, but I do not know how to make the mod compatible with NMM, since I do not use NMM).
Extract the zip archive (weightless.esp) into the data folder.
Navigate to:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Fallout4
This is a hidden folder, make sure you "unhide" hidden folders in windows settings (enter "show hidden folders" in the windows search menu)
Open plugins.txt, add: weightless.esp below all current lines
Save, quit, play.
