About This Mod

This program allows you to edit Hard coded keys in Fallout 4. It creates a CustomControlMap.txt file that can be used with F4SE. You must have an F4SE in order for the program to work.



I asked crazygnexus for the code of his Interface Hard Coded Key Tweaks program for Skyrim so I could edit it to work with Fallout 4. He agreed and gave me the source code, and here it is, an edited version of his program that works for Fallout 4.


The original program is written by crazygnexus.


THIS PROGRAM IS IN BETA RIGHT NOW, but it should work normally.


I'm not a real programmer, and it's a fast and dirty fixed version of his program, but it works, and that's the main thing. There may be bugs that I don't know yet, need more time and testing to see, and what's best to get it done then let everyone have on it.


The only mistake I've noticed is that when you associate some keys with the program, they no longer appear in the game's control menu. It's not that you need them, you've already tied them to what you need.


Some commands say "Not Documented Yet", although obviously what they do, I just didn't have time to edit the cmd_descriptions.txt with information about them.


Let me know if you find any bugs or find out what some of the undocumented commands are doing so I can add this information to their description.
