About This Mod

Another Life allows you to bypass the fixed starting sequence and choose a different role, which provides a deeper dive into the role-playing game.



Pre-war sequence is just a simulation of memories in your head while your synthetic body is being created. When leaving the bathroom, you will be asked to choose whether you want to wake up or go to sleep. Waking up will launch an alternative starting mod, and napping will allow you to continue through the vanilla starting sequence.



Once awakened, you will find yourself in one of the many synthesizer processing chambers of the Institute. Here you will find Pipboy and the terminal that controls the processor settings. This is where you can choose the profession for which you will play.



Once you enter the processing unit, you will be transferred to the Commonwealth, without knowing, of course, that you have ever been to the Institute.



Access to Warehouse 111 will be the same as a normal playthrough, and your starting quest will be Commonwealth Jewel, not Out of TIme.



Features

Another Life allows you to play 36 different professions. Each occupation determines your starting gear and weapons, faction allies, starting skills and starting location. In the future, it will also determine what start quests you receive.
