About This Mod
The first release of Ojo Bueno textures for Fallout 4: the iconic Nuka-Cola machine! Textures of different sizes are available, from 4K to 1K - the same dimensions as the original textures. The textures remain true to the game's original aesthetics, with small decorations such as a round vent on the left side of the vending machine, and white paint on the hood and legs of the vending machine to match the paint of the beverage case.
INSTALLATION:
1: Make sure your Fallout.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini file has been modified to enable the loading of fashion textures. Locate the [ARCHIVE] section in this file and add the following variable:
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
In the same section, look for 'sResourceDataDirsFinal=' and remove all values to make it read:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
NOTE: This is the same 'Archive Invalidation' process that was used to enable fashion assets in all previous Bethesda games, and it is more convenient to load than using another method (i.e. setting sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\). 2: Install the correct version of the file using your favorite mod manager. Or, install manually (if you are an old school), download and extract the .zip file, copy the attached 'Data' folder to the Fallout 4 folder, so that it merges with the existing 'Data' folder.
UNINSTALL:
Simply delete the mod using your favorite mod manager, or if the mod is set manually, simply delete the following files in Data>Textures>SetDressing>NukaColaMachine:
NukaColaMachine2_d.dds
NukaColaMachine2_n.dds
NukaColaMachine2_s.dds
