In recent years, Smithbox has been used for games such as Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, Dark Souls III, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, and Armoured Core VI. A standalone integrated modding tool for FromSoft games.

Smithbox supports the following 64-bit operating systems
Windows 7

Smithbox requires the following distributions
Visual C++ Redistributable x64 - download here.
Microsoft .NET Core 7.0 Desktop Runtime - download here.
.NET Core 7.0 ASP.NET Core Runtime - download here.
In addition, the following equipment is required
Vulkan 1.3 compatible graphics card with the latest graphics drivers: NVIDIA Maxwell (900 series) or higher or AMD Polaris (Radeon 400 series) or higher.
4GB or more of VRAM on the graphics card if you are modifying DS3/BB/Sekiro/ER cards due to the large size of the cards.
After installing Smithbox, you will need to unpack the game you want to modify:
Dark Souls Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition - Open with UDSFM.
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition - Opens with UDSFM: Remastered - opens by default.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin - Unzipped in UXM.
Dark Souls III - Unzipped in UXM.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Unpacked at UXM.
Elden Ring - unpacked in UXM Selective Unpack.
Armoured Core VI - unpacked in UXM Selective Unpack.
