About This Mod

You can receive any gift and give it to your partner before the time.

This is a set of five simple easy-to-use scripts that instantly add a companion gift to your inventory. You can give the gift at any time, regardless of which Lowe you usually receive it. If a gift becomes an item of gear after it is given, you also receive it. For example, if you give Fenris the Sword of Mercy in chapter one, you will receive an equipped Sword of Mercy much earlier than Vanilla. When you give a gift, the dialog usually does not mention details such as where you found it or how you received it, so it should not break continuity if it is important ;)


You can run scripts to receive all the gifts received for a certain action, or scripts to receive all the gifts in the game.


To run these scripts, you must turn on the console. If you don't know how to do this, there is a guide on DA Wiki.




zz_a2gifts adds all the gifts in Act 2. In the console, type 'runcript zz_a2gifts' (without quotes) to start it.


zz_a3gifts Adds all gifts in Act 3. In the console, type 'runcript zz_a3gifts' (without quotes) and start it.


zz_allgifts adds all the gifts from all the acts in the game. In the console, type 'runcript zz_allgifts' (without quotes) and start it.




The next two gifts are for Carver/Bethany and are available in the Right to Birth Quest in Act 1. Adding a gift for a deceased sibling will keep it in the quest magazine forever, so it will be separated from the rest. However, there should be no other glitches. The script looks like this:

zz_carvgift - start it by typing 'runcript zz_carvgift' in the console (without quotes).

zz_bethgift - enter 'runcript zz_bethgift' into the console (without quotes) and start it.




Installation.

Extract the 'All Gifts Anytime' folder into the DocumentsBioWareDragon Age 2packagescoreoverride folder.




Uninstall.

Remove the 'All Gifts Anytime' folder from the override folder.
