--------
1] Overview.
This mod includes all active and sustained ability and spell upgrades commonly available for Hawk and Companion. Maintenance modes are reduced to 10% of each armor (base). Vanilla upgrades and passivki remain unchanged.
-4 upgrade per skill for almost all non-passive skills.
-Increasing damage to your Direct Damage skills is based on the +25% of Basic Damage rule to equalize scaling across disciplines.
-Exceptions to the 25% rule apply when the damage of the original Basic Skill is too small (increase), when the damage is not the main effect of the Basic Skill (increase), or when the damage increase is not the main property of the upgrade (decrease).
-The fourth upgrade of common skills - Cross Tree ("XTU", see [4] below) - requires Hawke's specialization.
-New upgrades have level and points requirements chosen to maximize usability while providing interesting discoveries as the character evolves. The upgrade descriptions list the levels and points required for each upgrade.
-By describing each improvement you should be able to understand what it does. Check the tooltip for the basic skill before clicking "confirm" to see the effects.
-It is customary to call SLSU upgrades as follows: 1 - "Upgrade", 2 - "Power", 3 - "Spell" (wizard) or "Advanced" (tramp/warrior), 4 - "XTU Tree or Wizard Tree". There are a few exceptions.
To get the most out of this mode, it is recommended that you use high difficulty settings.
--------
2] Increased impact area (AoE)
Since version 0.93, almost all AoE skills have received several improvements.
Updates affecting the AoE are marked in the size number description, e.g. "Size: 8 m". This is the domain size only when applying this update.
If more than one update is selected, each update increments the AoE by the additional amount specified in the table. The amount of the raise is shown in the basic skill that is raised, but the raise itself is always shown as '8m' or similar. This is a description constraint. Verify the basic skill type before clicking Confirm.
Vanilla AoE remains the same. If the vanilla has a domain upgrade, its size will match the first SLSU upgrade. Vanilla upgrades are counted when AoE increases if more than one upgrade is selected.

AoE not upgraded:
-DeathSyphon: if multiple mages are used, they are less likely to suck each other's corpses.
-Firestorm: added scope because the 15m blast is already irritating.
-Rings of gravity because they have zones and they are already bowed.
There are two additional options for AoE:
1) "greater" - a more significantly improved version by all parameters, in fact, the value of "0.92X Experimental Version".
2) "flat" - a version that behaves like vanilla.
--------
3] option 8 "Go to face" (enabled by default from 0.90 onwards. Remove from add_on if not needed).
The eight thief abilities conceal the upgrade slots Warrick already uses in the game: Nailing Shot, Rain of Arrows, Miasma Bottle, Confusion, Fog of Fatigue, Chameleon Breath, Armistice, and Gordo. Because of this, these abilities usually have only three slots available for enhancement instead of the maximum four. To recover these brew slots as a common upgrade, SLSU uses the 'abi_base_slsu_rogue_optional8.gda' file. However. The use of this file alters the graphics of the robber's projectile: the bottle is missing during the usual animation of the robber's "blow", it is glued in front of Bianca, etc. If you're concerned, delete the above file to disable this feature.
Note that if you use the optional8 option and later decide to remove this feature, you will need to follow the usual instructions for removing alerts. If you have invested points in any of these eight special upgrades and reinstalled DA2 without abi_base_slsu_rogue_optional8.gda, you will lose these ability points and will need to add them again. See Note 5] for uninstallation.
--------
4] Cross-Tree Updates (XTU)
The XTU is an upgrade available in a regular talent tree and requires one specialization point to direct the corresponding specialization out of the nine available (three per class). XTU is only available to hawks and can only be used by hawks unless NPCs use a different mod that allows them to access the specialization tree.
The tree combinations are as follows:
Force Mage: Unlocks elemental and arcane XTUs.
Spirit Healer: Unlocks XTU Creation and Primordial.
Blood Wizard: Unlocks the entropy and XTU spirit.
Templar: Unlocks Weapon+Shield and Defender XTU.
Marauder: Unlocks two-handed and avant-garde XTUs.
Berserk: Unlocks a war merchant and master of war.
Assassin: Unlocks Sabotage and Expert->Sensitive XTU bonuses.
Duelist: Unlocks XTU "Scoundrel" and "Expert->Power".
Shadow: Unlocks Cunning and Expert->XTU Speed.
Rogue Archery and Dual Weapon do not have an XTU, and the tree does not have an XTU.
The title and text of the XTU indicate what specialization is required during the game; the XTU only requires 1 point of wood (which you already have, regardless of the skill being upgraded) and 7 level (required for specialization) when purchasing in a regular game There are no other restrictions in the plan
--------
5] Installation:
* During upgrade, delete all files of previous version.
Basic installation:
Basic Installation: Open the 'SLSU' folder and copy it to the BioWareDragon Age 2packagescoreoverride folder.
Option.
- Option 8 Rogue Upgrade: Remove 'abi_base_slsu_rogue_optional8.gda' from the overrideSLSU folder to disable it.
- Glowing Eyes: To enable, copy the 'Male' or 'Female' fashion folder 'Glowing Eyes for Hawke v1.0c' to overrideSLSUadd_on. Do not forget to confirm the original mod** from **.kurniallah2412.
- Special Restriction: You can delete the .gda file to limit this mod to a specific skill tree.
- Alternative AoE: To change the behavior of the AoE update, overwrite the file 'Persistent_slsu.gda' with a version of your choice: 'AoE variationslarger' or 'AoE variationsplain'.
There is no need to start a new game.
Uninstall.
1) If you have invested points in a new enhancement, reorganize and save your character in Maker's Sigh.
2) Delete the SLSU folder without overriding it.
3) If you are using Glowing Eyes, replace it with the original version.
If step 1) has not been completed, reinstalling to a non-SLSU environment will result in loss of skill points. In this case, you will have to return the glasses to the console or in another way.
--------
6] Troubleshooting
6.a] When you download/continue a game, no additional SLSU update icons appear from the save:
1) Check if you made a mistake with the "note" not only in the file abi_base*.grda, but also in erf-files of mods containing abi_base, old versions of SLSU, mods that you put in the subfolder and forgot about them.
2) Try to completely restart the game.
3) Start a new game or download another save and check to see if everything works properly.
4) Try to remove all non-SLSU mods and restart the game.
6.b] I see skill improvement icons and investment points, but the tooltip text doesn't seem to improve them:
A: Other skill mod partially overlaps SLSU. All basic skills require entering the correct SLSU update ID in the upgrade link ID field. Once you have determined which mod is in conflict, you can resolve the conflict in one of the following ways:
1) Remove either this mod or SLSU.
2) Remove the SLSU part used by another mod (see [5] Setup -> Optional -> Custom Limited).
3) Change the order in which the mods are loaded so that the SLSU is loaded last. This can be done by changing the filenames (in alphabetical order) or creating subfolders (the deepest subfolder is downloaded last - thanks to NeoSeether for pointing this out). However, this is likely to lead to the breakage of other mods.
4) Edit other mods to be SLSU compliant. The required changes are described in the readme section of the compatibility script. After starting, place new compatible mods at the end of the installation sequence.
6.c] Glowing eyes.
1) No Glow: Make sure that the compatible abi_base_glowingeyes.gda file is deep enough to load after other SLSU files. Typically, the path should be "overrideSLSU_add_on_Female_abi_base_glowingeyes.gda".
2) If another version of abi_base_glowingeyes.gda exists, abi_base_glowingeyes. gda or anything that changes these six skills must be removed or replaced.
3) Scent, Berserk, Parry, Pinpoint Strike, Healing Aura, and Blood Magic:] upgrades do not work. Make sure you are using a SLSU-compatible version.
6.d] Constant NPC skill upgrades (Lilium Ghost, Vengeance, etc.) do not work after upgrading from an older version of SLSU:
1) If you previously installed version 0.81 or 0.82 of this mode, uninstall abi_base_slsu_NPC_sustainedcosts.gga because it was deprecated.
6.e] I suddenly take less damage:
A: After using the Creator Sighs, you must reequip your weapons. It will appear in your inventory when your status is reset. This happens often. Don't laugh.
6.f] AoE is no longer available after SLSU upgrade:
A: Starting with SLSU 0.93, persistent_slsu.gda should be available; if you don't want to upgrade AoE, use the "plain" version of persistent_slsu.gda (or go back to version 0.92) (or go back to version 0.92).
6.g] If you use Optional8 and another SLSU-pyGFF compatible mode at the same time, Warrick miasms, confusion, etc. will not cool down (but can be immediately reused):
Starting from version 0.94, set the fields "abi_base_slsu_rogue_optional8.gga" 203020 stun, 20303030 slow, 203040 confusion, 205010 hate, 205030 push, 206030 smoke "projectile" to zero. This workaround unfortunately needs to be applied to the main skill, and all other thieves will also have projectile=0 (even without the cooldown error) SLSU pyGFF-compatible scripts until updated. If you need them, you can edit them manually in other mods (they say 200009, 200010, 200011, 200012, 200019, 200013) or leave Warrick's spambombs as they are.
--------
7] Compatibility:
This mod conflicts with mods that change any player's skills. This is because all basic skills must be changed to fill the upgrade slot. Theoretically, if the mode changes only vanilla upgrades and nothing else, then there should be no problems; if the mode does not affect abi_base at all, then there should be no problems; see [6]. Troubleshooting.

8] Known issues.
-Screen format, AoE upgrades: for example, 'Size: 8m' means that the new AoE will be 8m after one upgrade. For example, "Size: 8 m" means that the new AoE will be 8 m after one update. The update "Size: 8 m" twice can mean that the new AoE will be 9 m, 10 m or more. Check the basic skills tooltips before you click Confirm.
- Display format - "Damage in time": - For example, "Fire damage: 12 every -0 seconds" means 12 additional damage in normal skill ranges.
- Display format +/- and %: for example, "Duration: Duration: 10" means plus 10 to upgrade, "Cost: -5" means minus 5% to duration, etc.
-Display format, fractions rounding: 3% in the description is actually 2.5%, 13% is actually 12.5%, etc.
-Support upgrades are listed as 1 second each, while in fact they are 0.5 seconds each.
-Sebastian's arrow "Wounding Arrow" is shown as "-3%" per shot, which means +3%, etc., but it's actually -3%.
- Avelyn's "immobility", for example, is shown as a "-2% stack per hit", but in fact it is a +2% (penalty reduction).
-Stels' vanilla upgrade "Quiet Running" is considered to be +40% to the movement speed (the movement speed of vanilla Stels increases from 60% of the base to 100% of the normal); an increase in the speed from SLSU is added to these values so that you can move faster than usual during stealth movement. That's as it should be.
-GUI can strangely highlight upgrades when selecting/canceling multiple abilities simultaneously. -There are still some limitations on the types of effects that can be updated.
