About This Mod

The modular changes in the equipment of the Mages and the NPC create the illusion that the apostates are actually trying to hide their true identities.

It always seemed strange to me that Hawkes (and about 25% of Kirkwall's residents) could walk around wearing the robes and staff of the Circle, and no one notices or worries about it. So I began collecting "secret" magical items, exchanging the appearance of some magical robes for clothes and armor, and creating new classes of melee magic weapons.

(I know there are mods that do these things separately, but I wanted to make them more complete and also avoid the consolidation of weapons).

My mods are modular, divided into three folders, which can be installed both together and separately:

Armour - Robe for Hawk, changes armor and clothes. Armour - Rob for Hawke, changing to armor or clothing. Includes unique items and randomly generated shared armor.

(Mostly anything that falls out of enemies of the circle's mages is sold in the magician's shops in Gallowes or is not clearly labeled as being equipped with the circle's mages, has been replaced. So there are still mantles that look like mantles).

NPC - NPC renegades wearing the robes of the circle have been replaced by armor or clothing. Most of this was done en masse in the apr_base and UTI revisions, but some NPCs needed specialization.

A weapon is a new weapon that acts like a staff at a distance, but looks like a non-magical weapon. The combat animations have been mixed between both weapons, making them look perfectly reasonable (IMO). These new weapons mostly replace weapons randomly generated by certain NPC groups, with several new unique weapons. The optional file replaces the Bethany and Mage Hawk staff.

Unused robe shadows for the apostles, blood mages and the NPC Circle were also found in the file.

In an additional file, the specularity (brightness) of all the mantle shadows was reduced to 10% of the original (because it hurts the eyes!).

Optional: colored circles

Personal desire to remove the dull DAO wizard outfits from DA2 and give the Circle's magicians more color variety. I added more color shades, changing the appearance of some items and NPC. He also changed some unique robes to better match his name, and changed calm NPCs to the robes of wizards instead of regular clothes.

It does not depend on the main mode.

Optional: Clone removal service.

Cloned NPC wizards feature prominently in most quest battles and storylines (seriously, do people use blood magic to do this?). We have prepared some simple scripts to remove these NPCs. They are best used in combination with the Hidden Magician and the Color Circle, but they can also be used independently.

There should be no conflict.

The following quests are currently included

Acts of Mercy.

Best cold serve.

The Last Survivor

The Last Straw.

**There is a glitch in which random wizards appear during the final scenes and battles. We're planning on how to make them disappear forever, but until then, please remove the script called 'tls_4.ncs' before entering the final battle with Meredith. Or you can remove it completely. This is the smallest and least noticeable deletion of clones.

I also recommend using modified colors of ShotgunBuckaneer materials or my own colored materials, as some items are left without fractional colors for aesthetics and/or consistency).
