About This Mod

Remove the refugees from Lillin's shop and Anders Infirmary as the number of clones has reached alarming levels; updated to include the viscount's castle.

Farewell to the clones.

I did a quick search on the Nexus and couldn't find any fashion that had done it before.

I was always annoyed by the repetition of the same NPCs in Lillin's shop and Anders' infirmary, so I decided to do something about it and replaced the clones with new NPCs. No more clones! At least these two areas are the main ones where I've noticed clones in the game (not counting the low-resolution travelers who are part of the art, not the NPC itself, but I haven't noticed them at all).

What I did: I created a new NPC and put it in a specific area, so this mod is incompatible with other mods modifying the area files for the store Leeren (episodes 1 and 3) and Darktown (all three episodes). The .UTC change also changed .MOR because her lips didn't move when she spoke (.UTC because the change in .UTC didn't allow her to move her lips when she spoke (this is a gray-haired woman who wants to become a healer because her mother gave birth). I should have left her alone, but I was curious).

I think I was just using vanilla entities to make an NPC, but to be honest, my overrides and Chargin morphs suck, so I might miss something. Please let me know if there are any problems!

Update: Viscount's residence has been identified as a clone's nest. The clones are destroyed (with the exception of a spinning chamber at the end of Act II. I think Hawke got too many blows from Alishok and sees double). The clones in Lowtown were destroyed at the beginning of the Wonderworkers' mission. Maybe those people thought it was just triplets, but I... I didn't think so.

The changes are as follows:

and111ar_andersshop

and311ar_undershop

dae130ar_undercity_darktown

dae230ar_undercity_darktown

dae330ar_undercity_darktown

dae121ar_keep

DAE221AR_KEEP

DAE321AR_KEEP

QCR221AR_KEEP

DAE110AR_LOWTOWN

How to use: Just drop the .erf file in the override. This means that if you download the mod in Act 1 after visiting the store or Darktown, you will have to wait until Act 2 until the clone disappears. Therefore, it is best to use this mod in a new game!

Higher! Goodbye, clones!
