About This Mod
The previous ReShade preset for the Dark Souls 3 was aimed at improving the visual component without taking into account the performance, which made the game excessively demanding. In this release, we tried to fix this problem while improving the visual experience. Most color-related effects were replaced by LUT, and MagicBloom and MatsoDOF were replaced by PirateBloom and MartyMcFlyDOF, respectively. These changes have resulted in significant (35 fps) performance improvements.
This preset was also intended to improve the dark areas of the game. Large indoor and underground spaces illuminated by a few candles or torches become very dark as expected, and places where there are no light sources are forced to use torches for lighting.
