Addition to the Native Settings UI sidebar

This QoL mod adds a side menu with a list of mods for easier navigation.

Key Features:

Side menu with a vertically ordered list of mods for easier navigation of long lists of mods and smoother selection of mods.

Option to enable or disable mod sorting.

How it works:

Once installed, the mod adds a sidebar with an active list of mods to the Native Settings UI menu and sorts the mods alphabetically in ascending order.

You can disable or re-enable the sidebar or sorting at any time in the fashion settings page.

You can also adjust the length of mods to fit in the side menu button space.

Note that alphabetical sorting is based on Latin character encoding tables, which may result in an incorrect sorting order for non-Latin languages.

However, the order will be preserved, as opposed to the random order in the tab list without this add-on.

Compatibility information:

Requirements:

Cyber Engine Tweaks - mandatory - mod will not work without CET.

Native Settings UI - required - this mod is not activated without Native Settings UI.

What happens if there are no mandatory requirements?

The mod will simply be disabled or inactive.

Game Support:

Designed to work in a game version 2.0 or higher with the corresponding version of CET.

On earlier versions of the game, it is not activated.

It is based on the 2.12a version of the game (essentially 2.12).

Validated on versions 2.02 to 2.12a.

Not tested on other versions of the game.

Not tested on the complete completion of the game.

Native UI support for settings:

Version 1.9 or higher, recommended 1.96 or higher.

This mod will not be activated without the Native Settings UI mod (as it just doesn't make sense).

Checked on versions 1.95 and 1.96.

Not tested with earlier versions.

This mod does not change the base Native Settings UI code or its files; it simply works on top of the base mod by displaying it at runtime.

Limitations:

The left/right arrow keys (or D-pad buttons) toggle the settings buttons only in the middle setting area (outside the side menu). This is the default behavior of the game.

If the cursor is moved outside the side menu, you will need to move it to the menu area using the mouse or controller, just as you interact with the mod list menu on the top of the game by default.

The up/down keys (or D-pad buttons) move over the side menu only if the cursor is in the side menu area.

In the main menu (before starting the game), long-pressing keys or up/down buttons can change focus to the middle area buttons (go from the side menu list to the buttons in the middle of the settings area).

After loading the game, the list of side menus will work correctly with key holding, allowing you to press and hold up/down keys to continue scrolling/cycling through the list.

Install or update:

manually (recommended) - insert the unpacked bin folder into the game folder. Allow files to be overwritten if requested.

automatic - use the Vortex manager. Note that sometimes it may not work properly due to Vortex issues. In case of problems, please install it manually.

Uninstall:

automatically - use the Vortex manager if it was installed using Vortex.

manual - delete folder:
