Changing AI assets
About This Mod
Originally created by AI Changer, after merging the Snow_Cat add-ons and rewriting the user interface afterwards, it is now a regular Prefab AI changer.
This mod adds a drop-down list to the asset properties editor, which allows you to select any AI for the asset you are editing.
Warning - WorksAsBuilding() and WorksAsNet() checks are not implemented.
Designating highly inappropriate AIs will break the asset, cause exceptions, and cause other weird things. Broken assettes will not be loaded and cannot be fixed using the Asset Editor.
You can try to assign inappropriate types of AI (VehicleAI to the building, etc.), but there is a chance that something will break terribly. Therefore, if you do, make a backup of your asset before trying.
If you want to create a custom AI building, create a building and assign it a new AI, if you create a custom AI, start with the standard AI vehicle and change it, etc.
Purpose
The main purpose of this mode is to simplify the creation of assets with custom AI classes.
Consumption
Simply select the name of the new AI class and click "Apply" after you have made your choice. When you click Apply, the new AI will actually be applied to the asset and update the Properties panel with a new set of options for the selected AI. If the previous and new AI share properties, their values will be migrated.
Using custom AI classes
You can assign custom AI classes using this mod. They will start with your mod namespace in the AI list.
