About This Mod

and achieving more balanced demographic and educational needs. The goal of MOD is to rebalance demographic and educational needs more realistically. It reduces the number of children, increases the number of young people and balances the need for primary and secondary schools.


Characteristics.

Lifecycle adjustment.

- The default lifecycle threshold has been changed from 21/36/84 to 12/24/77. As a result, the demographic structure must become more realistic. This means 15% of children, 10% of youth, 60% of adults, and 15% of the elderly. These are approximate figures that may vary depending on your city.


Probability of graduation.

"We improved the graduation probability to better align the average time spent in school with the simulation life cycle. For well-staffed and efficient schools it is ~9 years in primary school, ~6 years in secondary school, ~6 years in college and ~9 years at university. These numbers depend on the level of development of the city.


Educational needs.

- The above changes will lead to a reduction in the number of primary schools - about one school for every 10,000 inhabitants - and a slight increase in the number of secondary schools - about one school for every 30,000 inhabitants. The need for colleges and universities will remain roughly the same, with one college for every 35,000 inhabitants and one university for every 50-60,000 inhabitants.
