About This Mod

This mod gives you the ability to add custom names for game assets using a simple text format. It is important to keep in mind that this is an early stage of development, and in the future, the functionality can be extended, for example, by adding support for full packages.


This mode is designed to work with user files containing, for example, street names that can be easily found on the Internet. You can easily create your own file with names corresponding to your topic and use it!


Name Packs Setup


To use name packages, move them to the packs/Default folder in the BepInEx mod directory. This folder should contain files with resource names. File names must match the resources they replace. We recommend that you review the sample file located in the Default folder. The files must have a .txt extension and contain the language to be used in the game.

Installation


Installation of the mod can be done easily using r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager. If you prefer to install the mod manually, follow these steps:


- Verify that BepInEx 5 is installed.

- Download the mod file.

- Extract the AssetNamePacks.zip archive into the BepInEx\plugins folder.


Compatibility


The mod is incompatible with other mods that modify localization files (I am currently not aware of the existence of such mods).
