About This Mod

(BETA) This mode implements a tool similar to the decorative tool from Cities XL, designed to work with any prefabricated objects created with the help of a standard surface/area tool (areas, plots, surfaces, map tiles, etc.).


From now on, the tool is able to recognize the edges of roads, surfaces, subnets and network bands (for example, objects from the EDT interface) as boundaries and perform a click-to-fill.

Once the mod is set, you will find an additional "Area Bucket" button in the tool settings panel when you select any surface resource. Activate it to open additional tool options.


IMPORTANT WARNING! Two experimental parameters (subnet/network boundary, boundary-crossing check) may have a slight performance impact, resulting in lower FPS when working with the tool.

- Surfaces, including custom surface assets.

- Specialized industrial sites

- Landfills

- Areas

Mod is in beta testing, known issues:

- Performance issues with wide range of padding for some options (mainly affect border crossing detection and padding option)

- Sometimes there is a notice "Invalid form", but in most cases filling still occurs. Activate Anarchy in the tool options bar to hide this warning.

- Sometimes the placement of the surface may be impossible due to the filling of a very sharp angle.
