Animate Dead++

Changes Animate Dead, Create Undead, Undead Thralls, and other necromancy items to fix, smooth, and expand the gameplay.


Valkrana's Spellbook - 11 new signature necromancy spells as well as more undead opportunities.

Valkrana's Skeletal Challenge is a mode of difficulty that adds random undead enemies.

Valkrana's Undead Encounters - adds encounters with undead on the map in all acts.


Fix: Represents fixes that apply exclusively to BG3.

5e: Changes to match the Fifth Edition of D&D on which the BG3 is built.

Toggle: Optional passivations that can be turned off and on. Enabled by default.

The rest: Mostly quality of life or additional extensions.


Revive the Dead

5e: Supports the creation of 5th- and 6th-level skeletons and zombies. Two extra undead per slot.

You can now animate your melee skeletons. They have denser bones.

Added a Skeleton Wizard as an alternative to a Ghoul and a flying Ghoul when casting at 5th and higher levels.

Added arcane glyph effect to the origin point of each undead during casting for better transition.


Undead creature

Added Death Knight and Shadow as alternate versions of the regular Mummy.

It can be played during combat, as can Animate Dead.


Revival spells

Correction: Adds information missing from some spells, such as Animate Dead 4th level, that could break them in free resuscitation areas.

5e: Restriction removed. You can animate as many undead as your spell slots allow.

Toggle: No bodies needed! Instead, spells target any place on the ground within range.

5e: Upcasting support for mods that add 7th-level and higher spell slots.


Animated Undead

Toggle: Controlled by AI during combat.

5e: Gets the benefit of a short rest.

5e: The biped undead can now interact with doors and some other objects.

Bug Fix: Ghoul's Devour restores HP.

Fix: Ranged skeleton now has a base AC 10.

The skeleton's appearance has been changed to leather armor.

Skeleton skills that use equipped weapons are no longer disabled.


Undead trolls

Wizards with the necromancy school subclass receive a free enlightenment spell at 5th level, not 6th level (when any red-blooded necromancer usually gets it).

5e: HP and damage bonuses now apply to all necromancer undead, not just the one who received the Animate Dead spell.

Correction: Undead Thralls's damage bonus now correctly uses the necromancer's skill bonus.

Correction: Undead Thralls bonus will no longer be removed from undead when removing a spell from the prepared spell list.


Other

Bug Fix: Danse Macabre is no longer broken in necromancers. Also, the call limit was removed. Preserves a donerphic version of the spell.

Correction: The staff of the coveted necromancy now really uses life essence, does not act on objects.

Correction: The aura of hate is now correctly applied to unarmed attacks by nearby undead and eruptions.

The aura of hatred applies only to allied beings.

Some undead species, such as the runner skeletons of Animate Dead, have received improved AI archetypes.

Fungal infection support has been added at the players' request.

Circle of Bones: Spam removed from Undead Ward combat log.

Bug Fixes: Minor bugfixes I forgot to write when adding.
