About This Mod

This is an adaptation of the SemanticAvenger subclass of College of Cantors Bard, as close as possible to the rules that I was able to understand:

Compatibility Framework is initially supported

This subclass progresses to a level of 20. You don't need a mod to raise the maximum level, you just don't get the features

Level 13-20 This subclass has a Cleric tag for dialog to get the choice of a deity, I would recommend a mod type of All Classes Get Gods

Subclass Features:

Blessed knowledge:

Feature of the 3rd level of the College of Cantors

Your connection to your god gives you an understanding of the divine. When you make an Intelligence (Arkana) or Intelligence (Religion) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as 10.

In addition, you will learn to read, write, and speak the same language of your choice from the following list: Abyss, Heavenly, Draconian, Infernal, or Primordial.

- Implementation notes:

- Throws 9 or below are treated as 10 - these are the rules as written

- Since there are no languages in BG3, and given the relatively small number of Arkana/Religion checks in the game, I have replaced the choice of language with Arcana and Religion Proficiency

- Progress:

- Level 3: Gain Blessed Knowledge, Master Secret Magic and Religion

Celestial Secrets:

3rd level Collegium of cantors You

get one cantrip and one 1st-level spell of your choice from the cleric's spell list. The spells you choose count as bard spells for you, but do not count towards the number of bard spells you know.

- Implementation notes:

- Rules as written

- Progress:

- Level 3: Learn 1 cantrip from the cleric's spell list; Learn 1 spell from the cleric's spell list, 1st level

Canal deity:

Feature

Level 3 of the College of Cantors gives you the ability to direct divine energy directly from your deity, using that energy to fuel magical effects. You have three of these effects: Bardovian penance, Dazzling undead, and Glee Guardian.

When you use Channel Divinity, you choose what effect to create. You can use the Channel Deity once and restore all uses when you have finished a short or long rest.

Some of the channel's Divinity effects require saving throws. When you use this effect from this class, DC equals your bardic DC save spell.

Bardovskaya Kara:

when a creature you see hits another creature with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to inflict additional shining damage equal to two Bardovian inspiration cube rolls that are not spent. Damage is doubled if the target is an undead or a demon.

Dazzle Undead:

As an action, you present your sacred symbol and say a prayer condemning undead. Every undead who can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a saving throw of Wisdom. If the creature fails to make a save, it takes shining damage equal to one roll of your Bardic Inspiration die, which is not spent, and blinds until the end of your next turn.

Choir of Guardians:

As a bonus action, you protect a creature that is visible within 30 feet from attack. Within 1 minute, any creature that targets a protected creature with an attack or a malicious spell must first make a Wisdom save. If the save fails, the creature must choose a new target, or it will lose its attack or spell. This spell does not protect the protected creature from area effects, such as a fireball blast.

- Implementation notes:

- Canal Deity: Rules as written

- Bardovskaya Kara: Rules as written

- Dazzle Undead: Rules as written

- Choir Guardians: Since the effect of Sanctuary was changed for BG3, I changed the opportunity to give the allied Sanctuary as is

- Progress:

- Level 3: Gives 1 Charge of Divinity Support; Gives Kara Bard, Dazzling Undead, and Guardian Choir

Inspiration from Above:

College of Cantors 6th level Inspiration

that you give to others does not come from your own art, but from your deity and your faith in it. When a creature uses the Bardovian Inspiration cube you gave it, it regains health equal to the amount dropped + your bard level.

- Implementation notes:

- Since it would be difficult to implement as it is written, I changed it so that it heals when given a block of Bardovian inspiration, and not when used as in Soothing Songs.

- Progress:

- Level 6: take inspiration from heaven

Apotheosis:

Feature

At the 14th level of the College of Cantors, your connection to the deity has reached its absolute peak, and you receive the following benefits:

- You can use your channel deity twice and restore all uses when you finish a short or long rest.

- When a creature uses your Inspiration from Heaven ability, it takes resistance to crushing, piercing, and slashing damage until the next turn begins.

- If the Spells feature allows you to cast or replace a bard spell or a wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can select a new spell from the cleric's or bard's spell list. Otherwise, you must obey all restrictions on the spell's choice, and it becomes a bard spell for you.

- Implementation notes:

- Canal Deity: Rules as written

- Inspiration from Above: Same as above, when you give an ally the death of Bardov's inspiration, he gets the Blade Guard until the next turn begins

- Spells: It is not possible to dynamically change the spell list in this way, so I have replaced it with more Heavenly Mysteries; Learn 1 additional cantripe from the Cleric's spell list, and one spell from 2nd to 6th levels

- Progress:

- Level 14: Get Apotheosis; Learn 1 cantrip from the Cleric's spell list; Learn 1 spell from the Cleric's spell list, 2nd level; Learn 1 spell from the Cleric's spell list, 3rd level; Learn 1 spell from the Cleric's spell list, 4th level; Learn 1 spell from the Cleric's spell list, 5th level; Learn 1 spell from the Cleric's spell list, 6th level
