College of Dance - Bard Subclass PHB2024 OneDnD 5e

Adds a new subclass of bards to Baldur's Gate 3, introduced in the recently published new 2024 DnD Player Guide. This mod implements ALL functions (in context and balance BG3) from the Player's Handbook for this subclass, and it is now complete.

This mod is also compatible with 20 level mods!

The College of Dance Bards practices a way of being in harmony with the whirlwind movements of the cosmos that flow through all creation, from the movements of celestial bodies to the movements of even the smallest being. They emphasize agility, speed and grace, as well as their use in dancing not only in a social setting, but also in live combat.

IMPORTANT: download updates for this mod ONLY FROM NEXUSMODS, without using the in-game mod manager. The in-game mod manager is unreliable and checks for a different version of the mod, which does not match the one that is here. The version of NexusMods here is the best version of fashion, and you should download it only from here.

Features list:

• New bard subclass opening at 3rd level: Dance College
• The Dance Bard College opens several new unique sub-classes, as well as new custom icons and new spell visuals:
• AT LEVEL 3:

• Dance Virtuoso: You get an advantage in your performance check and a new ability "Perform Dance". This action works just like the other Performance actions, allowing you to select one of the six songs available to be performed, as well as the "quiet" dance bonus option. If you choose one of the songs, your character will dance while you listen to the chosen song, played by an instrument that is currently equipped with your character. For the best immersion, I recommend that you do not have an instrument with you to hear a version of the song in the style of "Whistle", which seems more plausible to the dancer at the same time as the dance. As expected, other bards can join your song so you all play together:

• Dance of Death: Skillful Attacks. Your unarmed attacks scale based on your attack and damage dexterity if your dexterity is greater than your strength.

• Death Dance: Damage without weapon. Your unarmed attack turns into a bard attack without a weapon. Its damage scales with the Bardovian Inspiration Cube.

• Skillful Strikes: After using Bardoff's inspiration in battle, you get the chance to perform one free Bard Kick Without a Weapon attack with a new badge and kick animation! Note: This free attack is a temporary spell and as such appears in the Temporary section of the Quick Access Toolbar (speaking of this if you use mods such as Better Hotbar 2 that require you to complete the process before you can see the Temporary section of the Quick Access Toolbar; the unmodified Quick Access Toolbar does not have this problem).

If you have any feedback related to the balance and values of the various abilities of this fashion, I will be glad to hear them! I try to keep all my mods balanced in the context of BG3 to enjoy the game.

Compatibility:

If you are using a 20th-level mod, install the 20th-level patch file and download it after the main mod.

As for other mods, this mod from the very beginning was designed to be fully super-mega-hyper compatible with ANY fashion of any kind. So don't worry about compatibility :).

As an additional note, if you use any mod that changes the scaling of the Bardic Inspiration cube, it will also affect this modifier, since the abilities are scaled along with the Bardic Inspiration cube as intended (as should be the case in PHB2024 rules). You have to download such mods after that.
