About This Mod

This mod to subclass was made as another collaboration with the talented Shayedd, who made the class adaptation to BG3 and provided icons. Several significant changes were made to better fit in and make it easier to use BG3 rather than a board game. And a note from her about it:

"Grave Domain was the domain I wanted most to adapt for BG3, and it finally came! Grave Domain 5e RaW is simply not playable for me in BG3, but I have always genuinely loved it and wanted to find a way to make it work. Obviously, there are quite a few changes from 5e. For me, the aesthetic of this domain has always been very close to nature as a theme of death and decay, so that's what I chose here. One of the things that I care about most about this issue is our special Easter egg cantripe, "Dead People Tea." I've been watching Critical Role for nine years now, and it's kind of my tribute to my 9-year anniversary and my beloved Firbolg Cleric, a lot of love for all my Critters mates ❤️ I hope you all enjoy playing it as hard as I do, and as always, send all the love and praise to Skye for working with me on it and being an amazing collaboration partner as always - Shayedd"

Requirements you NEED Visual Effects Library from Shivero. I'm putting it first to make it absolutely clear that I don't know what happens if you try to use it without it, because the test has given mixed results. Maybe he'll just look sloppy, maybe he'll collapse instantly. You NEED it.

Grave Gods

Graves are watched over the boundary between life and death. For these deities, death and the afterlife are a fundamental part of the multiverse's work. To oppose death or to desecrate the rest of the dead is an abomination. The deities of the grave include Kelemvor, Wee Jas, the ancestral spirits of the Immortal Court, Hades, Anubis, and Osiris. These deities teach their followers to respect and honor the dead. Followers of these deities seek to restrain restless spirits, destroy undead wherever they find them, and alleviate the suffering of dying beings. Their magic also allows them to prevent death

creatures, though they refuse to use such magic to prolong the creature's lifespan beyond its mortal limits. - Xanatar's Guide to Everything-

  • 1st level: Curse, False Life-
  • 2nd level: Loosening beam, see Invisibility-
  • 3rd level: Vampire Touch, Talking to the Dead-
  • 4th level: Mor, Vampire Touch-
  • Level 5: Great Recovery, Grave Infection (see below

Level 1)-Circle of Death: You manipulate the line between life and death so that your allies do not cross it. Whenever the closest ally (18 min) has less than 10% of their maximum Health, any healing they receive is maximized. You also study the Cantrip Spare the Dying with a range of 30 feet/9 m - Tomb Keeper Vision: At 1st level you gain the ability to direct the protective energy of the grave to protect yourself and your allies from harm. As a reaction, when you or a creature you see within 30 feet of you takes, you can use your reaction to resist this type of damage until the beginning of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you will regain all your spent powers when you have finished your long rest. -Dead People Tea Cantrip: In a short time you create a health potion in your inventory according to your character's level.

Levels 1-3: Healing Potion

Levels 4-6: The Great Potion of Healing

Levels 7-9: Potion of Excellent Healing

Levels 10-12: Potion of Higher Healing

2nd level Channel Deity: Path to the Tomb: Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Divine Channel to mark the life force of another being for destruction. As an action, you pick one creature that you see within 30 feet of you, and curse it until the end of your next turn. The next time your ally hits a cursed creature with an attack, it will be vulnerable to all damage from that attack, and then the curse will end.

6th level - Necrotic Blooming: At 6th level, you gain the ability to decompose death around you. As an action, you can touch the corpse and make it bloom in the growth of plants. You also receive Steps of Mielikki, which makes you and all closest allies immune to rugged terrain on 10 moves. You can use this function a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (at least once). You recover all spent funds when you finish a long rest

.8th level - Powerful spell

Level 9 - Grave Infection: Infection is a subject, cool and useless in BG3. So Grave Contagion works differently, you pick one of the diseases that Contagion can usually cause, and automatically give it to your enemy for 3 moves or until it succeeds in saving at the end of its turn. This gives at least one course of disease effects without as much as 3 rounds of waiting to possibly get the benefit that a contagion has in the base game.

Soul Guardian Level 12: At Level 12, you can take the trail of life force from a parting soul and use it to heal the living. When an enemy you see dies within 30 feet of you, you can heal yourself or one ally of your choice, within 30 feet, for a health score equal to your level plus a wisdom modifier, until the end of your turn. Once you use it, you won't be able to do it again until the start of your next move.

Compatibility: Using the compatibility framework, you should have no conflicts or problems, but if I know anything, I'll fix it as soon as possible
