Oath of Zeal - Paladin Subclass
About This Mod
This is an adaptation of the Oath of Zeal Paladin subclass from Ghostfire Gaming, as close as possible to the rules that I was able to understand:
Compatibility Framework is native
Merged progression is native
This subclass has progression up to 20 levels. You don't need a mod to raise the maximum level, you just don't get 13-20 levels Visual features

Principles Of Zeal:
Feature
The Zeal Oath 1st Level The Zeal Oath Principles are as serious and harsh as those paladins who decide to take them.
Unleash corruption. Darkness cannot bear daylight. The wickedness must be revealed before it can be destroyed.
Clear the heretics. Heresy is a tumor that spreads through the hearts of innocents. Cut it at the source.
No mercy. The righteous path requires unwavering conviction and unwavering determination.
by any means necessary. There is not too much sacrifice when it comes to defeating the wicked.

- You are marked as the Vow of Vengeance, all the rules and dialogs of the Vengeance Vow will apply
Channel Oath:
1st level of the zeal oath function
"Jealous Avenger": as a bonus action. select a creature you can see within 9 meters (30 feet), this creature gets 3 meters (10 feet) more movement speed by 3 turns and becomes immune to challenging terrain.

"Since Larian gave all the paladin sub-classes the Canal's Oath at 1st level, I did the same for that.
- I tried to create a thematic ability that is at the same time strong, but not too powerful, I hope it will be successful

Canal Oath:
Function
Level 3 zeal oaths At Level 3, you receive the following two channel oaths:
Heretic Mark: You can use your channel oath to mark a creature as a heretic. As a bonus action, select the creature you can see within 30 feet and a crying symbol will appear on it. For the next minute, your weapon attacks against the selected creature deal a critical hit when throwing 19 or 20, and each time the creature's turn begins, you can use your reaction to make one weapon attack against it.
Inquisitor's Eye: You can use your channel oath to open your feelings to hidden signs of corruption and malfeasance. As a bonus action, you gain an advantage in the Intelligence (Investigation), Wisdom (Perceptions), and Wisdom (Perceptions) abilities checks for the next 10 minutes. During this time, not by surprise.

· When a target hit by a Heretic Mark starts its turn, an interrupt is triggered, triggering a retaliatory attack with a melee or ranged weapon (depending on how far away they are)
- For some reason, this may cause multiple interrupt occurrences. I'll deal with it eventually, but choosing yes in one case will override the others.

Hunter Level 5: Thought Detection, Thumping
Level 9: Fear, Languages
Level 13: Fortune telling, creature detection

- Implementation notes:
- Since Detection of Evil and Good, Languages, Divination, Location of Creature and Divination are absent from the game, I replaced them (hopefully) thematically
- Progress:
- Level 3: Learn the Hunter Sign and Protect against Evil and Good
- Level 5: Learn to recognize thoughts and knock
- Level 9: Learn Fear and Slowness
- Level 13: Learn Freedom of Movement and Guardian of Faith
- Level 17: Study Insect Plague and Planar Bonding
Aura of Clarity: Function "Oath of zeal
"
7th level Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you cannot be blinded while you are conscious. In addition, creatures and objects of your choice cannot be invisible within range. At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
- Implementation notes:
- Immunity to blindness works as written
- Invisibility removal applies to all enemies and objects within the aura, any invisibility they have is removed and cannot be reapplied while inside
- Progress:
- Level 7: Obtaining an aura of clarity
- Level 18: Aura of Clarity radius increased to 9 meters (30 feet)
Coercive recognition:
Function
15th-level Zeal OathsStarting at 15th level, you can cast a Truth Zone spell without spending a spell slot. When you cast a spell with this ability, creatures that manage to make their save take 1d4 mental damage at the start of each turn while remaining in the kill zone.

- For reasons that I hope are obvious, I had to refuse this and find a replacement at home, but I did my best to make it as possible
closer to the spirit of the rules - Forcing confessions:
- Select a goal, goal preserves charisma
- If it fails to persist, it gains the effect Team: Approach on 1 turn, then the effect Team: Flush on 1 turn
- If he survives, he takes 2d10+20 mental damage instead
- Can be used as an action once for a short rest

- Level 15: Receipt Coercion to confess
The Apocalyptic Revelation:
Function
Oath of Zeal 20th level At 20th level, as an action, you can reveal the true nature of your enemies to everyone for 1 minute. During this time, you benefit from:
-You have Truesight at a distance of up to 120 feet.
- Creatures that start their turn or move within 5 feet of you must make a Constitution save against your Paladin spell to save DC. If unsuccessful, the creature is blinded until its next turn begins.
- As a bonus action on each of your moves, you can select a creature within 60 feet of each move and show its weaknesses to the public. Attacks made against the selected creature have an advantage until the start of your next move.
Once you use this feature, you won't be able to use it again until you've finished your long vacation.
- Implementation notes:
- True Vision: Since True Vision is not present in BG3, I have exchanged it for Superior Dark Vision and immunity to magical darkness
- Blindness: Radius slightly increased to 2 meters
- Reveal weakness: Rules as written
- Progress:
- Level 20: Get Apocalyptic Revelation
