About This Mod

This mod is based on the now "obsolete" and unsupported ACQUISITIVE SOUL GEMS mod. In fact, it's almost the same mod. As in this case, this mod makes it so that you will never be able to catch a soul smaller than the maximum size that Soul Gem can withstand.

First of all, ASGM (this mod) definitely works in the Special Edition, so you're here.


ASG probably works as well, but since the ASG author no longer supports it, you will never see it in the SSE mod list. ASG also requires USLEEP, which may not work on SSE, and the patch for SSE from the same author - USSEP - may not meet ASG requirements for USLEEP. Yes, you can fix all these problems, but author bluedanieru is not going to do it, and this mod exists, so why bother?

ASGM has localization, which means the mod will be in your language, not just English.

The supported languages are Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, and Spanish.


If SKSE64, which is required by SkyUI, is installed, internationalization will be enabled automatically when you open the ASGM MCM menu.

Personally, I think that the effect of a stunning trap in this fashion is much cooler than the vanilla effect of "all at once."
