About This Mod
The mod replaces Radio Liberty with over 100 true commercials that ran from the 1940s to the 1960s. Today it is quite interesting to listen to these old commercials, some of them are actually wrong, and others are just hilarious. Instead of showing a preview of these clips, I think it will be much better to hear them in the game (some of them I wouldn't want to spoil!). Most of the videos contain music and soundtracks, which I think fits perfectly into the game's musical style.
Please note that some of the videos may not sound very good, this is due to the fact that they are very old records. However, I tried to ensure that most of them were of worthy quality. Also, because G.E.C.K. is not yet available, I can only randomize commercials very much. This means that you may notice that some commercials always go one after another, but hopefully it is not too noticeable!
I hope you enjoy listening to them during the game, and hopefully they will make you laugh! :)
Advice for more realism! Try BlastoLho's stunning Camel Cigarettes or Lucky Strikes retexture mods that replace cigarette packs with real ones. Please don't forget to support him if you like them!
Installation
If you haven't already changed your ini files to allow mods to be installed:
You need to add the following line to the Fallout4Prefs.ini file below the section labeled [Launcher]:
bEnableFileSelection=1
You will need to change the following line in Fallout4.ini:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
Then unzip the Data folder into the main Fallout 4 directory. You're done!
Uninstall:
Simply delete the extracted files.
