How can I replace the ashes of war with weapons

You will encounter a weapon that has absolutely useless/basic/otherwise unwanted skills and you will not be able to change it to something better.

With the updated Yapped for Elden Ring, you can now freely change any battle ash (among many other features)!

This simple guide will tell you how to replace the ashes of war with any weapon, but playing with a built-in tool will give you the opportunity to change much more than that.

- Scaling

- Basic Damage

- Type of attack

- Model and gun badge (mainly transmog) 

- Ability to protect (small shiidl / shield / large shield) / Parrying

And more.


However, in this guide I will focus on how to change the art of weapons / Battle Ash. Refer to the image with the instructions below. 


Important: changing this setting will trigger eac, so be sure to turn it off and play it offline. You're playing under changed rules.It's very possible that trash files may lead to bans. 


1. Do it by bringing your bear runes here

2. Open your Rules.The bin files that are at the root of your Elden Ring folder (where the game is located.I have exe) and open it using Yapped, in Yapped, choose Tools> Import Name. Otherwise, everything will be empty. (Thanks to Fauert for letting me know!) 


3. After opening the regulation.yapped and bin find Equipparamweapon in the left column. Once there, you can press Ctrl + F to summon any weapon. When you find a weapon, all its stats and details will be displayed in the right column. I used the commander's standard in the illustration and changed this skill to "801," which is the step ID of the greyhound. All Ashes of war can be found here

4. After you have changed the ID (or other things you want to change for the weapon), save the file and you will see the changes in the game!)**


**5. Note: Unfortunately, you cannot replace all the ashes with the steps above. Most of what I've tried works fine, but I can benefit from the independent ash of war (Devastating waves, dancing birds on water, etc.) rather than the more complex ones characteristic of weapons.), requires further editing, and if you just change the identifier, the initial animation will work, but will not cause damage or other visual errors. You need to change other settings, such as behavior change ID, transactional set override category, visual interface parameters, and possibly other Unk parameters. (Thanks again, Fauworth.) Look at the weapon in Kill Strike and try to copy the same value from the above category into the weapon you are trying to change. 


There are a few more points you can trade for weapons in Yapped:

- Scaling is obvious, and if you want your weapon to have scaling s, you can choose 100 for A, 80 for B, 60 for B, etc. Sheep.

- The equipment model ID is designed to change the look of the weapon, so if you have the look of weapon A and you want to change it to look of weapon B, you can search for weapon B and change the equipment model ID.

"Finally, you can also change the set of moving weapons. For example, you can force a straight sword to use a katana's motion set, or you can use it for weapon types with multiple motion sets (for example, a weapon with more than one motion set).
