TellMeWhen is a WoW add-on that provides visual, audio, and text notifications about clotting, buffs, and nearly all other combat elements. 

Customizable.

Icons can be configured to appear or hide based on the status of the base item, interval, duration, stack, resources, and other availability factors.

All icons can show their status using standard reboot animation and are compatible with OmniCC.

You can specify more than 110 conditions that will ensure that icons are displayed only in certain or common situations.

You can specify the sound to play when you change an important icon property.

You can also specify the text that will be advertised/displayed when an icon property is changed.

Icons may appear with varying degrees of transparency depending on the availability and availability of the control.

You can display a status bar above the icon to show the required resources and remaining battery life/duration in other ways.

Icons can be superimposed on each other in Masque (formerly ButtonFacade).
