About This Mod

IL-76TD.

Long-range transport aircraft; civilian conversion of the IL-76MD. Military equipment dismantled. Carrying capacity 50 tons. Maximum takeoff mass 190 t. Range at maximum load 3600 km. first flight 5 May 1982


Passenger helicopters.

The basis, of course, is the Mi-6 P, a helicopter modified for passenger traffic in 1965. Comfortable salon with rectangular windows, heat and sound insulation, wardrobe and toilet accommodated 70 or 80 seats (70 in the game), depending on the stage of installation (tourist option). The rear cargo door and ramp were replaced by a fairing with a folding hatch. If necessary, the passenger version could be easily converted into a transport and sanitary version. The helicopter remained in its sole possession.


Transport helicopters.

There's a bit more variety here.

This is, of course, a new basic modification of the Mi-6 A helicopter, created in 1971 as a result of a number of modifications carried out during the first ten years of its operation. The main differences from Mi-6 are long-term service life of the main units and new instrument equipment. In addition, a single hydraulic unit for the hydraulic system was introduced. It carries 12 tons of payload, including transport (innovation!). .

The Mi-6TZ tanker helicopter can carry asphalt and about 7 tons of fuel. It is used to deliver small volumes of fuel to remote areas of the republic.


Specialist helicopters.

The Mi-6 RV is a fire version built in 1967. Unlike the base version, it does not have wings, a 12-ton internal fuselage tank with a central neck, a foam tank, a pump, lowering scissors with an open pond water intake device in case of a hang, rescue and other fire-fighting equipment. On an external suspension, six soft one-and-a-half-ton tanks with fire-extinguishing liquid can be delivered to the place of fire with the help of a special grid.

It can also carry clean water; it has been produced since 1971.
