About This Mod

Early starter toolkits. They are based on vanilla instruments.

They are designed to work (to avoid workarounds) until I have developed a mod and can use early start farming and construction techniques in the game without delay.

I plan to constantly add tools that I would like to share with early-start enthusiasts. Any suggestions for modeling assistance will be welcomed.

The simulations are temporarily borrowed from Vanilla and are not accurate, but the tools and stats are accurate, researched and balanced to match the game's parameters.

Bulldozers: Stalinets S-65, 1937-1958.

(Stalinets S-80 was included from 1946 to 1958.)

Zetor 25K 'Stork' tractors 1949 - 1961

Combines Stalinets C-4 1947 - 1958

DT-54A long tractor with dump S-U* 1949 - 1963

(* Hydraulic telescopic attachments are considered to be excavators. There was also an option for a "multifunctional unit suitable for use in construction and light industry")

Thank you dlseis, blue_bro, judge nyxyx and ryantheskinny for their great help on the discord with my first vehicle modification.

Additional notes.

Stalinets S-65 was a very popular tractor bulldozer, the first variant was the S-60, produced at the Chelyabinsk tractor plant in 1932. The more powerful S-65 model of 1937, weighing 11 tons, was equipped with a 65 kW (50-56 kW) diesel engine. In 1946, the S-65 model was replaced by the S-80 model (based on the Caterpillar D7) at Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. Its effective (useful) power was 60-65 kW. Currently there is a model called C-65, the nominal power of which is 60 kW. The S-100 appears to integrate features of the earlier S-80 model.

The Zetor 25K agricultural tractor was a variant of the Zetor 25 model produced at the Zbrojovka Brno factory from 1946. It was followed in 1949 by the 25A hydraulic lift and in 1949 by the 25K agricultural tractor, nicknamed "Stork". The engine produced 20 kW of power and 55,000 cars were built.

The Starlinets S-4 was a highly successful self-propelled combine harvester, the first versions of which were produced in 1947. Earlier combines were produced, and the largest number of combines in the world was produced in the USSR in 1937 - 44 000 (29 000 in the USA). The C-4 variant was equipped with a ZIS-120 Otto engine with a capacity of 5.6 liters and a power of 39 kW. It was built at the Krasnoyarsk, Tula and Taganrog integrated plants, as well as at the Sizran Selmasi plant. It was then produced under IFA license as the Forst Schlitt E171-177 until 1967 and was powered by a diesel engine.

The DT-54 was a continuous tracked agricultural tractor, and its variants were legendary in design and production. Its more famous predecessor was STZ_NATI; the DT-54 was first produced at the Stalingrad Tractor Plant (and then at Kharkov) in 1949 and produced until the last DT-54ki. In total, 958,000 units were produced in the Soviet Union. There were many options, mainly for agricultural use, but it was noted that there was also a variant "multifunctional unit suitable for use in construction and light industry". In this game, we used an option that provided a very low level of construction functions, and classified it as an excavator (this was done specifically to help with the mechanics of the terrain). The model used was a vanilla excavator, which we will later replace with an option closer to the DT-54A required here. This time model was chosen so that the game could be perceived functionally as an excavator rather than an agricultural tractor or bulldozer.
