About This Mod

Fox County is a semi-fictional county based on a real county in the U.S. state of Montana. The landscape is real, but most of the road network, such as Lake Bowdwin, is fictional. The map offers a fair amount of resources, but they are not easily accessible, so you need to think carefully about the infrastructure.

The most unique feature of this map is that it really breaks the boundaries of the game, giving us a total area of 30 x 30 km and an area suitable for construction, 26 x 26 km (676 km2). For comparison, the vanilla map yields 16 x 16 km or 256 km2, and the user map yields 400 km2 using all 20 x 20 km zones.


For a comfortable game on a PC or laptop requires medium to high specification.

Also note that this card is very haphazard and not officially supported, which can lead to unexpected errors.

Known Errors.


Due to a strange glitch with saving dds-files of resource maps I cannot edit resources in Terrain Editor. It's not about exceeding game limits, and it happens no matter which card I edit. If you started the game on an earlier version, go to steamappsworkshopcontent7841502799326686, copy the files resourceemap.dds and resourceemap2.dds, move them to the save folder, replace and paste;

An airplane sent abroad makes a U-turn at the edge of the map. This is a purely visual effect, and nothing can be done about it yet. But still looks a little silly 🙂 .

Ships behave strangely and refuse to go beyond the original range of 20 x 20 km. Looking for a fix;
