About This Mod
MÁV-class V63 "Gigant" locomotives were built by Ganz-MÁVAG for MÁV (Hungarian State Railways) to carry heavy goods and passenger trains with high traction capacity.
These locomotives were the most powerful type of locomotives built in Hungary.
A total of 56 locomotives were delivered to MÁV between 1974 and 1988.
In 1992, 10 wagons were modernized with improved transmission and reached a speed of 160 km/h.
