About This Mod

MAN Lion's City is a low-floor low-sunday public bus produced by the German truck and bus manufacturer MAN Truck&Bus (formerly MAN Nutzfahrzeuge) since 1996 mainly for the European market. The name Lions City has been in use since 2004, when the Mann public bus models sold separately were assembled in a single December, and most models also underwent repairs. The first models presented were the 12-meter low-floor intercity bus NÜ xx3 (A20) in 1996, the 12-meter city bus NL xx3 (A21) in 1997 and the articulated NG xx3 (A23) in 1998. As with the previous MAN models, the rated capacity is part of the model name, and the model names include the NÜ series of 260 and 310 horsepower, NÜ263 and nü313 respectively. The main production bases are located in Starachowice and Gardens in Poland, but models are also produced in Germany, Turkey and Malaysia. Initially, most of the midi-bass versions were produced by Goppel Bass in Augsburg and then in Novice. The model is available with a 6-cylinder turbocharged direct-flow engine running on diesel, compressed natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas. Hydrogen fuel cell and hydrogen internal combustion engine versions were successfully tested, as well as diesel-electric hybrid drives. Using a supercapacitor and a 67 kW electric motor, Lion's City Hybrid has been sold since 2010. Hybrid electric buses increase the efficiency of urban transport and use 30% less fuel than buses that use only internal combustion. The last generation Neoplan Centroliner is based in Lyons City (Neoplan was also part of the Neoman bus group).
