About This Mod

It seems that people have been a bit "confused", so let me show you some basic complexity statistics, as well as what's changed.

the selected text indicates what has changed. the rest is vanilla



EASY:

Player modifiers:

No damage from friendly fire (explosives, bullets, melt, plasma, laser, etc.).

Rebirth with 1 charge of ability injector and +300% of the normal abilities charge at rebirth.

+43% Health Regeneration from Healing Injectors. Fast Regeneration Time (30% faster regeneration of disabled players).

AI Bots:

No damage from friendly fire.

Background: Renaissance time: 60 seconds.

Incapacity limit: 2


NORMAL:

Player modifiers:

-25% armor segment size.-50% sensitivity to explosive damage.

Friendly fire remains off-limits for most weapons.

+90% grenade damage to enemies.+23% gunshot damage.

AI Bots:

No damage from friendly fire.

AI NPC modifiers: +60% bonus for threats of FODDER, ELITE, SPECIAL and BOSS classes.

General:

Renaissance time: 60 seconds.

Encapsulation limit: 2.


HARD:

Player modifiers:

-25% maximum health.-50% armor segment size.-50% sensitivity to explosive damage.

Friendly fire is still off for most weapons.+220% grenade damage to enemies.

Decreased dodge invulnerability and windows of perfect dodge (-35%).+46% weapon damage. <Fashion changes = -35% to +25% and damage from shot to 62

AI Bots:

No damage from friendly fire.

AI NPC modifiers: +190% threat bonus for FODDER, ELITE, SPECIAL, MINIBOSS and BOSS classes.

General:

Renaissance time: 60 seconds.

Encapsulation limit: 1.


VERY HARD:

Player modifiers:

-30% maximum health.-50% armor segment size.

Friendly fire is still off for most weapons.+350% grenade damage to enemies.

Decreased evasion invulnerability and windows of perfect evasion (-35%). +62% damage from gunshot. <Fashion changes = -35% to +25% and your shot damage remains at 62

AI Bots:

No damage from friendly fire.

AI NPC modifiers: +300% threat bonus for FODDER, ELITE, SPECIAL, MINIBOSS and BOSS classes.

Background: Renaissance time: 120

Seconds.Incapasation limit: 1.



How to set the mod:

Navigate to the game directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\paks\client\default

locate the default file:default_other.pak

Open the .pak file:

Option 1: Right-click on default_other.pak and open it using WinRAR.

Option 2: Rename default_other.pak to default_other.rar, and then open the file.

Replace files:Drag an ssl folder from my mod into an existing ssl folder inside the default_other.pak/rar file. When prompted, select to overwrite existing files.

Rename the file back:If you renamed the file earlier, change default_other.rar

back to default_other.pak.

Disable cache:Locate the file default_other.pak.cache. Rename it to default_other.pak.cache.disabled by adding .disabled

to the file extension.

You're done!

Run the game and enjoy advanced evasion and counteracting mechanics!
